The Magnificent City of Siena 🇮🇹

If you’re visiting Italy, I suggest visiting this small beautiful medieval city! I did a day trip from Florence and it was well worth it. I was there for about 5 hours and I had enough time to visit. This city has a lot of history. Here’s a bit of a background: “This Tuscan hill town will transport you back to the Middle Ages. Siena's grand cathedral, built in the 1200s, has treasured artworks and marvelous marble floors. The Piazza del Campo, the main town square, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It's also home to the Palio, perhaps the most infamous horserace in the world.” For lunch, go to Sclavi (There’s a charging station for your phone inside and unlike all other restaurants, the price is reasonable) Sclavi is located between bar Manganelli and Gran Caffé Ristorante (I couldn’t see it on my map) Try the Pici pasta - Siena’s specialty (12€) Enjoy! #Siena #mustvisit #italy
