Mount Fuji Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jun)
Mount Fuji is A Dreamy Place✨❤️
#japantrip
The list of dreams in life at Mount Fuji must be mentioned. The most famous street in Mount Fuji is undoubtedly this shopping street, but it also takes luck to take pictures of the entire Mount Fuji from this street. This day, I am very lucky to be able to capture Mount Fuji completely from any angle. Taking photos at this intersection is actually quite dangerous. It is difficult to take photos of your favorite place in just a few seconds while at a red light. Here is a small step. Please take photos in a continuous manner, and you can basically take your favorite photos once or twice. Look for landmarks in the Rikawa Chronometer Store, and you don't have to worry about not being able to find the most crowded places to take photos. Full Mount Fuji, come and collect Mount Fuji from various angles with me # # Japan Mount Fuji L-ーーーーーーー
In this lifetime, one must see the sea of clouds at Mount Fuji, which I visited three times in four months
After going to Japan, wouldn't you really want to see a sunrise at Mount Fuji?
As everyone knows, there are many spots to view Mount Fuji, and there are also many tourists.
Especially during holidays, it's so crowded that even the convenience stores announce they are drawing the curtains.
What many people don't know is that there are many hidden spots,
with few people and beautiful scenery for an exclusive view.

Mount Fuji after the rain is a stunning sight I've never seen before.
The mist gradually lets down its guard after the glow of dawn.
The hazy Mount Fuji slowly reveals itself,
making us who waited for two days tearfully happy.

👉Address: Hirano in Yamanakako at Mount Fuji, Japan
Spot 1️: The shore of Hirano in Yamanakako: Can capture the volcanic reflection + swans
Spot 2️: The boardwalk by the water in Yamanakako: Can capture the walkway, with lakeside rocks in the foreground
Spot 3: Nagasaki Park in Kawaguchiko, by the main road: Features a large cherry blossom tree in the foreground
⚠️Spot 1 and Spot 2 are both in the plains of Yamanakako, about a hundred meters apart, but Spot 1 is slowly becoming more known, while Spot 2 is less known and yields better photos.
—
👉Transportation:
1️】Take a highway bus from Shinjuku's express bus terminal in Tokyo to the plains of Yamanakako, about a 2.5-hour drive.
‼️Be sure to buy tickets in advance, as there may be none available on the spot
2️】Take a train from Tokyo to Otsuki, then transfer to the Fujikyu line to Kawaguchiko, and then take a bus from platform 6 for an hour to the plains of Yamanakako
‼️Suitable for those with uncertain departure times, but the downside is that transferring takes time and it's often crowded with no seats available
‼️Note the last bus time from Kawaguchiko to Yamanakako, as missing it means an 8000 yen taxi ride from Kawaguchiko to the plains
—
👉Accommodation:
1️】hanamizuki, stayed twice, clean, with communal baths and restrooms, includes breakfast, dinner can be booked, no air conditioning, tatami mats
2️】Gojuban Japanese-style hotel: clean, with communal baths and restrooms, does not include breakfast, no air conditioning, tatami mats
‼️Both of these are very close to the sunrise spot in the plains, a five-minute walk
PassportStampCollector*444 Cherry blossoms under Mount Fuji
Cherry blossom rain under Mount Fuji, a spring day limited to Tokyo and Osaka.
This spring, head to the breathtaking cherry blossom season.
In Osaka, wander in the sunlight with dorayaki, weaving through the streets and alleys, breaking through the dimension wall for an anime world city walk; take a life's postcard photo under Mount Fuji.
Visit the tranquil Oshino Hakkai, far from the hustle and bustle, to feel the peaceful passage of time; go to Izu to see the hillsides covered with brilliant pink cherry blossoms.
Experience the ancient charm of Tokyo and the spiritual solace at Sensoji Temple, and take a Zen stroll under the sunlight~
Mount Fuji One-Day Tour for a Small Group of Nine
Just participated in a Mount Fuji one-day tour, circled around Mount Fuji for more than half a circle, and admired this iconic Japanese mountain at 5 locations. The overall experience is good, costing more than 500 RMB, and the return on investment is quite good. The car is a branded tour bus, a high-top Toyota Sea Lion, with nine seats. The seats are a bit tight and the comfort is a bit poor. Dined at the Hakkai scenic spot, Japanese set meal, averaging more than 2,000 yen per person, equivalent to more than 100 RMB, not bad.

Nippondaira Hotel Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jun)
Hidden gem Fuji Mountain location and unlocking the fourth Fuji Mountain view hotel in life
Nihon-daira is located on the hills between Shimizu District, Shizuoka Prefecture and Suruga Bay. In 2018, the famous Japanese architect Kengo Kuma designed a viewing platform and sky corridor - 'Dream Terrace' on the top of the mountain. It is said that the design inspiration comes from the Dream Palace of Nara Horyuji Temple, so the plane is octagonal, and it really looks like the Dream Palace of Horyuji Temple I went to last year~~ On a clear day, you can enjoy 360-degree views of Mount Fuji, Suruga Bay (the deepest part of Japan) and Miho Pine Grove from the platform.
A 10-minute walk from the Dream Terrace platform of Nihon-daira is a Nihon-daira Hotel. This is the fourth Fuji Mountain view hotel I unlocked after Lake Kawaguchi Rainbow Sunset Fuji, FUFU Lake Kawaguchi and Gotemba Hotel Clad. You can see Mount Fuji and the entire Shimizu Port from the room. If the weather is good, you must get up early to watch the sunrise and red Fuji. It's so spectacular to watch the sunrise slowly dye the snow-capped Mount Fuji red! The hotel's large lawn facing Mount Fuji is also very photogenic, no matter how you shoot it, it looks good! The hotel provides a free shuttle bus to and from Shizuoka Station, which is very convenient even for free travel
Shizuoka | Mount Fuji 🗻 and cherry blossoms 🌸 in spring
If spring has memories, there is a space here.
Shizuoka Shimizu-ku's Japan Flat Hotel 🏨
The hotel is on the mountain, and the coffee in the lobby on the first floor is very popular.
Outside the large floor-to-ceiling windows is a lawn, with a wide view.
On a good weather day, you can see Mount Fuji in the distance 🗻.
Take a leisurely walk under the pink cherry blossom trees on the green lawn.
View the blooming cherry blossoms.
Cherry blossoms falling under the gentle breeze.
The beauty of the world, visual enjoyment.
Sunpu Castle Park Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jun)
Sunpu Castle Park Momijiyama Garden
#thingstodo The best. This is very calm and peaceful castle park. Great place to hang out for a low key tourist day. It features a castle, a watchtower and the tea garden for a fee. The experience at the teagarden was the best! There’s also a tea ceremony place inside, but we didn’t go in. It’s only a small park, but there’s many areas with a different look and feel inside.
A must do in Shizuoka!
Sumpu Castle Park
#thingstodo A famous spot right next to Shizuoka Station. Ruins are scattered across the vast grounds. As you walk around the restored turret, you can clearly understand the historical background. The garden was also a nice place. It's interesting to see the excavation site of the remains of the castle tower. You can listen to explanations from volunteers for free, so give it a try.
Nihondaira Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jun)
Fuji Mt Observatory in Shizuoka 🗻
#wecreate
During my visit to Nihondaira Observatory in Shizuoka, I was captivated by the breathtaking views it offered. From the observation deck, the panoramic vista showcased the majestic Mount Fuji in all its glory, towering proudly in the distance.
We arrived there by car and walked a bit uphill.
Sunny skies are needed for perfect pictures of the mountain
The contrast between the azure sea and the snow-capped peak was truly awe-inspiring. The observatory provided a perfect vantage point to witness this natural wonder.
The serene atmosphere and the crisp air added to the overall experience. It was a remarkable opportunity to appreciate the beauty of nature and the grandeur of Japan's iconic landmarks.
Nihondaira Observatory is undoubtedly a must-visit destination for anyone seeking unforgettable vistas of the Mt Fuji 🗻

Nihondaira
#thingstodo Wonderful view of Mt. Fuji and Shizuoka.
No entrance fee.We reach Nihondaira by direct connection from the station with Number 42.
After taking the ropeway down to Kunouzan Toushou shrine, you can walk down the stairs off the mountain and take the bus from the coast back to Shizuoka station. The viewpoint from the hill provides an opportunity to view Mt Fuji. However it is still dependent on the weather conditions. Don't go up unless you have a clear sky because there is nothing much to see or do up there.
Mt. Fuji World Heritage Centre, Shizuoka Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jun)
Visiting the Mt. Fuji World Heritage Centre
We visited the Mt. Fuji Heritage Centre in early October. We took a 45 minutes train ride from Shimuzu station to Fujinoma Station, where a 10 minute walk led us to the Mt. Fuji Heritage Centre.
Entrance tickets were affordable at about 300 Yen, and you can get an amazing view of Mt. Fuji, if the skies are clear! Unfortunately for us, the skies were cloudy and we did not manage to get a look at the grandeur of Mt. Fuji, but the museum gave us a lot of historical information and facts about Mt. Fuji which you may find fascinating!
There is also a gift shop at the Ground Floor for any souvenir shopping 😊

A place to learn more about Mt.Fuji.
Very interesting “immersive” experience at the heritage centre. Inside, you get to walk up a circular slope, pretending to climb Mt.Fuji.
There are information along the way to read what it is like to really climb it. At the top, you can see the real Mt Fuji. It was cloudy when we visited there sadly. So it’s good to check the weather first before going.
The different types of rocks on display was interesting.
Staffs are very friendly and communicate english quite well.
I can see Mt. Fuji..
Me and my family love's to camp and one of the best place we visited is fumotoppara camping ground. We're mesmerized by the beauty of cone shape mountain with snow on top right in front of our tent. Feels so relaxing while the chilling wind blows, hearing the birds chirping and trees waving it's branches. Before going here you have to call for a reservation so you can have a place to put up your tent. They have also rooms to rent for a night, a house to stay or caravan hotel to rent if you dont have tent and want to stay for a night. Restaurant also is available and very affordable.
Beautiful scenery on the way to Shizuoka business trip.
On a business trip, I went to Fujinomiya and there were only two types of stores on the street: one selling seafood and the other selling fried noodles. I visited the Fujisan World Heritage Center and unexpectedly liked this attraction very much. The scenery and architecture are both beautiful! Just looking at the reflection of Mount Fuji makes me feel good! I don't know much about architecture, but I learned from the introduction of the lady in the museum that it was designed by architect Sakamoto. It's really beautiful~
