The Temple of Zhousa was built during the reign of Sawavaman II in the early 12th century. The Toma Temple, which is 170 meters away from the north, was built during the same period, and its architectural layout and structure are exactly the same. But why these two buildings are built is still unclear. Only in the late 19th century, the French military officer Deco in the discovery of this group of buildings, from the local population know that the temple is dedicated to the god of Zhou Sa, so the French named it Zhousa Temple. Although the size of the Zhousa Temple is small, it deserves special attention from Chinese tourists because it is repaired by the Chinese team. At the entrance to the Temple of Zhousa, there is a sign supported by the Chinese government. The stone tower at the entrance has been basically damaged, leaving only the foundation and stone steps. A three-row octagonal stone column has a passage above the ground (the building period is later than the stone tower), which together with the platform connects the east entrance stone tower to a small river nearby. On the south side of the passage there is a painting depicting the scene of the resurrection of Suri and Wali. The relief on the north side of the passage (east) includes the monkey, Shiva, and Parvati from the back of the cow, and the elf. The damage of Zhousa Temple is serious, so there are many maintenance projects. Except for the preservation of Xitamen in the existing 9 single buildings, the damage of the other 8 buildings is extremely serious.
