The Ministry of Information, Communication, and the Arts building is one of those internet famous locations in Singapore. It’s known as the Rainbow Building for its colored window shades and is also referred to as the Old Hill Street Police Station. The Rainbow Building sounds better if you ask me. In addition to government offices, there are several galleries inside with a cool artistic feel to them. The 911 colored windows paint a rainbow across the building with reds, yellows, greens, blues, and violets. The interior spaces are also colorful and it’s worth going into the central courtyard to have a look around. I recommend also seeing if there are any activities or exhibitions happening at the air-conditioned ARTrium inside. Transportation: Take the MRT to City Hall Station (NS25/EW13). Hours: 10:00-17:00. Cost: Free.
