Chontharasinghe Temple

Wat Chonlatharasinghe is located in Tambon Jeh He, Amphoe Tak Bai, Narathiwat Province. It is an old temple built during the reign of King Rama IV. It is notable for its beautiful architecture, with each building having its own unique identity. It is an architecture that combines Buddhist, Muslim, and Chinese styles. It is also an ancient site of Thai Buddhists, which the Thai government used as a reference to demarcate the borders in 1898, which prevented this territory from being annexed to Malaysia, preventing Thailand from losing its independence and becoming a British colony.
