Taichuan Wanshou Palace in Changde, Hunan

The Taichuan Wanshou Palace is located in the '35th Cave Heaven, 46th Blessed Land' within the Peach Blossom Source territory. It was first built in the Jin Dynasty and was originally named Taoyuan Guan. It has been more than 1,600 years since its establishment, making it one of the earliest buildings in the Peach Blossom Source territory. During the Tang and Song Dynasties, the temples and palaces in the Peach Blossom Source territory were extremely prosperous, with the grandeur of '48 layers of temples, 72 observatories, and horse-riding mountain gates'. It is a famous Taoist holy place in China. Taoyuan Guan was renamed Wanshou Palace by the Northern Song Emperor Huizong, who bestowed the plaque 'Taichuan Wanshou Palace'. The plaque was destroyed during the Ming and Qing wars, but the ruins still exist.
