Malaysia·Asia Mabul Island In the hottest afternoon, we took a speedboat to Mabul Island. The powerful engine pulled out a long white line, and when the girls' screams were still lingering, we saw the tall oil platform, which has now become a gathering place for divers. Walking on the wooden walkway built in the sea, the dense school of fish changes its combination and swims rapidly like smoke. The swaying corals bloom into flowers. More gorgeous than the corals are the frangipani burning around the wooden house. At the end of the wooden walkway is a white sandy beach. A huge ship is docked on the shore, the sharp bow of the ship points to the sky, covering the sky is a large coconut grove. In the coconut grove, there are high-legged wooden houses, wooden walls, tin roofs, and simple ones should be called wooden sheds. It is said that the residents here are all Cambodian refugees. Far away from their homeland, there is no arable land here, and the ocean is their fundamental means of survival. In the hot air, the inside of the tin shed is even hotter. The adults are like frozen sculptures. The ones who are not afraid of the sun are the many children. They are playing under the high-legged house. The boys are kicking the deflated football. The younger ones are simply sitting naked on the sand. There are also children flying kites made of plastic bags on the beach. Every child's face is with a smile, and their dark bodies are shining in the sun. There are also sporadic grocery stores in the village. The shark's head bones hang under the eaves, and the hard sharp teeth are pale in the sun. The specimens of swimming fish are swimming in the air, smiling weirdly in the red flowers, looking at the huge mouth that can never be closed. Colorful tin boats are parked next to the simple shed by the sea. The walkway separates the hustle and bustle, and they can't row past it. Walking past the village entrance, the long wooden walkway extends to the distant sea again. At the end, there are airships coming and going, carrying people in diving suits and oxygen cylinders to the depths of the sea. Under the round canopy with thatch as the top, people are enjoying the sun. The sea water is not far away, like the eyes of a beauty, flashing a tempting dark blue. Only that eagle flies freely, ignoring wealth and poverty. The corner of the wall is full of angry birds painted with eggshells, but every bird is smiling. For a long time, I will remember the eyes of the child holding the door frame. We looked at each other for a long time, and she finally showed a lovely smile.
