Memoirs in Shibuya

Many spots in Shibuya offer the perfect selfie or Instagram moment, or for hard-core shoppers, you can shop until you drop. There are culinary experiences everywhere you look. And of course, there are places just to sit and take in the hustle-bustle of daily life. To get to Shibuya Station, you can take the train. Shibuya Station is served by four major railway companies: JR East, Keio Electric Railway, Tokyo Electric Railway, and Tokyo Metro . The station has many exits and passages, so it may seem like an unbeatable maze to first-time visitors. Here are some key points to remember: The Hachiko Exit is the main exit in the northwest and is home to the famous Shibuya Crossing and the popular shopping center SHIBUYA109 The Miyamasuzaka Exit is in the northeast . The East Exit is situated in the southeast The West Exit is in the southwest If you are coming from Narita Airport, you can take the Keisei Narita Airport Line to Keisei Ueno, then transfer to the Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line to Shibuya. If you’re coming from Haneda Airport, you can take the Tokyo Monorail to Hamamatsucho, then transfer to the JR Yamanote Line to Shibuya. If you’re coming from Tokyo Station, you can take the JR Yamanote Line to Shibuya. The best time to be in Shibuya was when the sun goes down. It is mesmerizing to feed your belly and your eyes with stunning Shibuya views. You can try having dinner in these restaurants like Vino Buono, Franzuya, Two Rooms Grill, and Mercer Café Terrace House have terrace seating. Being a tourist in Tokyo will certainly clock up your calorie counter, but one of the things to do in Shibuya is checking out an all-you-can-eat restaurant!
