Xiamen's Nanputuo Temple is right by the sea. Climbing up the mountain, you can enjoy both the Buddhist temple and the view of the blue sea, white clouds, and clear skies, which is quite pleasant. Nanputuo Temple is located at the foot of the southeastern Wulao Peaks in Xiamen City, Fujian Province, adjacent to Xiamen University and facing the clear Bi Cheng Harbor. All the buildings within the temple strictly follow the ancient palace-style with double-eaved flying gables and large roofs, decorated with apricot-yellow glazed tiles, creating a unified and harmonious look.
