The Hilton Garden Inn is located in the Sino-Portuguese Commercial Plaza in the Hengqin Shenzhen-Hong Kong Cooperation Zone, only 200 meters away from the Hengqin Port. The owner is the Australian-funded enterprise Xinbaika, and the overall quality is quite good, with services (including concierge and front desk) even better than the recently opened Hilton Zhuhai. The hotel has 202 rooms and suites, spread across floors 29 to 35. All rooms offer views of the urban landscape of Zhuhai Hengqin or Macau Cotai, starting from a basic room size of 35 square meters, which is a bit small. The 'Garden Inn Deluxe Suite' I stayed in this time is 60 square meters, with a primary color scheme of natural wood and blue. The patterns on the living room and the headboard of the bed are Macanese Portuguese-style tile designs, giving the overall style a feel somewhat like a budget version of the Andaz Macau. The suite has a separate living room, with 270° floor-to-ceiling windows providing excellent views and natural lighting, and both the guest and master bathrooms are equipped with semi-automatic toilets. The welcome fruit platter included rare fruits such as figs and mangoes, etc. However, as a new hotel still in its adjustment period, it's easy to encounter problems. It's worth mentioning that there were some cleanliness issues, such as dirty mirrors, clogged toilets in the guest bathroom, and a strong smell of renovation in the storage cabinets, and indeed the rooms are not very large... The hotel's fitness center is open 24 hours, but can only be reached via the welcome elevator, which is not very convenient for guests as they need to change elevators. The sky pool on the 36th floor is still under renovation, but I went up to take a look, and it's actually quite nice, although it's not an infinity pool... I will not comment on the food as I have not experienced breakfast or lunch... In summary, the Hilton Garden Inn Hengqin can meet the needs of business travelers stopping between Hengqin and Macau, or for friends who don't want to stay in Macau after a concert at the Galaxy. It's quite suitable to stay here, and before the next-door Yachen Yueju opens, this Garden Inn may have no competitors near the Hengqin Port.
