Amitabha! There is actually a huge golden dragon head hidden in the temple
This temple actually has a huge golden dragon head.
It is very rare to see this in temples.
You can see the dragon head of the golden dragon from a distance at the foot of the mountain.
It looks even more shocking when you get closer.
This is the Jinlong Temple in Luzhou, Sichuan!
To get to the dragon head, you need to climb a relatively steep staircase.
Because the entire temple is built along the mountain.
So all the way is up and down the mountain.
The golden dragon is just the first main hall of the Jinlong Temple.
Guanyin Hall.
Standing on the big dragon head, you have a wide view.
You can see the Yangtze River at a glance.
The scenery at the foot of the mountain is all in sight.
In an instant, there is a feeling of overlooking all the small mountains.

A thousand years ago, there were theme parks too!
It turns out that ancient people also liked to visit theme parks.
There is a mountain in Luzhou, Sichuan
Named Yuchan Mountain because it resembles a toad!
In ancient times, Yuchan (jade toad) was considered an auspicious and spiritual creature
Phrases like 'Chan Gong Zhe Gui' (toad palace and the laurel tree), 'Yutu Yinchang' (jade rabbit and silver toad), and 'Liu Hai Xi Chan' (Liu Hai playing with a toad)
Are all descriptions of the toad's auspicious aura!
Yuchan Mountain is not only shaped like a toad
But also has many peculiar rocks on it!
The shapes also resemble toads
With attractions such as 'Shuang Chan Dui Ming' (two toads calling to each other), 'Qian Chan Xi Xi' (thousands of toads frolicking), and 'Chan Wang Chi' (toad king pool)
There are many toad-related sites
It can truly be called a 'Jade Toad Fairyland'
Definitely an ancient version of a theme park!
Historical records show that Yuchan Mountain had Yuan Tong Temple built during the Tang Dynasty
At that time, it was very popular with pilgrims coming in droves
The Song Dynasty literary giant Huang Tingjian got drunk here and wrote about 'Yuchan'
The Ming Dynasty top scholar Yang Shen wrote wildly about 'Jin Ao Feng' (Golden Turtle Peak) here
And so on, there are countless legends and stories
Today, there are still more than 400 cliff carvings from the Ming Dynasty preserved here
Exquisitely beautiful, they are breathtaking
If you come to Luzhou, you must not miss this place
It is definitely worth a visit

So niche! Who would have thought that Luzhou has Ming Dynasty cliff carvings!
I didn't expect Luzhou to actually have Ming Dynasty cliff carvings

Yuchan Mountain!
Named for its shape resembling a toad
It is known as the 'Pearl of Southern Sichuan'
The cliff carvings here are simple and elegant
There are the Thousand-Handed Guanyin, Nine Dragons Bathing the Prince, Amitabha Buddha, and so on

The upcoming Suzhou is very beautiful, I suggest you go have a look, babies
There are some sunny days, a few early cherry blossoms, enjoying the flowers, visiting the gardens, momentarily escaping the hustle and bustle.
Only a few trees are in full bloom, but they are blooming densely and vibrantly.
The pink hues set against the blue sky give a very healing feeling (it turns out that blue and pink match so well).
If you want to take photos of a cherry blossom forest, you probably have to wait until the end of the month, as currently, the cherry blossom trees in full bloom only show a faint color.
PS: The Shangfangshan Flower Festival starts on March 23rd.

Wenling Fangshan Travel Guide
See mountains and waters, meet Fangshan! Every grass and tree has a spirit. Fangshan-Nansongyan Scenic Spot, located in Daxi Town, Wenling City, is the boundary mountain of Taizhou and Wenzhou.
Fangshan has two sightseeing routes
Route 1: Double Elephants Guarding the Gate——Meiyu Waterfall——Qiaodou Cave——Fangyan Academy——North and South Dou Cave——Guanyin Hall——Five Elephants Peak——Wenbi Peak——Xiantian Gate——Yunxiao Temple——Upper and Lower Tianhu——Fangshan Top——Magpie Bridge——Yaochi
Route 2: Double Elephants Guarding the Gate——Meiyu Waterfall——Qiaodou Cave——Fangyan Academy——North and South Dou Cave——Guanyin Hall——Five Elephants Peak——Wenbi Peak——Xiantian Gate——Yunxiao Temple——Yaochi——Magpie Bridge——Fangshan Top
Fangshan was once awarded the title of World Geopark and was rated as a national scenic spot.
The most surprising spot in Fangshan for me is Yaochi. You must walk to the position of the Magpie Bridge and overlook the entire Yaochi, the view is very open!
Yaochi, with a water storage capacity of 40,000 cubic meters, is flanked by steep cliffs, the pool water is calm and clear, the Magpie Bridge is in the air, the scenery is beautiful, it seems that the Yaochi in the sky has fallen to the earth.
The front section of Yaochi is a canyon 300 meters long, 30 meters wide, and 25 meters deep. After the dam is built, it stores water to form a "Tianhe". The cliffs on both sides of Yaochi stand upright, and there is a 10 cm thick belt-shaped rock layer on the rock wall. The color is relatively light, it is volcanic debris deposited after a volcanic eruption, geologically called "belt". It's spectacular!
From the foot of the mountain to the mountain, they are all paved with stone slabs. Fangshan is also suitable for regular physical fitness exercises. Depending on the individual's climbing speed, the round trip takes about 2-3 hours.
Address: Northeast Changyu Town, Bay South Corner, Wenling City, Taizhou City
🎫:40
Opening hours:6:00-17:00
Catering: After climbing Fangshan, you can dine at Yunwu Mountain Villa, which is a farmhouse. Self-driving from Fangshan to Yunwu Mountain Villa is about 2.8 kilometers

I'd say it's the ceiling of beauty for ancient towns in Sichuan, and I guess no one would disagree
|||In Hejiang County, Luzhou City, Sichuan, there is an ancient town with a big name but little fame—'Fubao Ancient Town'. It was once listed among the top four ancient towns by National Geographic China, and also boasts titles such as the most beautiful ancient town in Sichuan, one of the top ten ancient towns in Sichuan, and the essence of mountain architecture in China.
Despite its many titles, why is 'Fubao Ancient Town' said to be little-known? Because it is located on the southeastern edge of Sichuan, bordering Chongqing and Guizhou, far from the political and cultural center of Sichuan. A self-drive trip from Chengdu to 'Fubao Ancient Town' takes about 4 hours, covering a distance of over 300 kilometers, which is quite a long journey for tourists within the province. This has also resulted in 'Fubao Ancient Town' remaining undeveloped commercially, with hundreds of years seemingly frozen in time within this ancient town.
'Fubao Ancient Town', also known as 'Fobao Ancient Town', became a trading center for hundreds of large towns during the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, and was also an essential route for the transportation of Zigong well salt to Guizhou. Most of the buildings in Fubao still maintain the Ming and Qing styles, with carved beams and painted rafters that witness the glory of the times, and flying eaves that have weathered the storms of time.
The ancient town is built on mountains and rivers, with an elegant environment and simple architecture, well-preserved. Despite the vicissitudes of hundreds of years, it still completely retains its original ancient pattern, with profound historical and cultural heritage and valuable architectural aesthetic value.
Passing through the town's large bluestone bridge, Hui Long Bridge, a well-preserved old street—'Hui Long Street' unfolds before the visitors. Walking on the mottled bluestone streets of the ancient town, looking at the simple and elegant leisure courtyards, experiencing the authentic local lifestyle, one can deeply feel the infinite charm of Sichuan's ancient towns, which is truly astonishing.

Shooting 'The Foolish Commander' in the quaint Fubao Ancient Town
The National Treasure Fubao Ancient Town hidden in the deep mountains is an ancient town that was established in the Song Dynasty, took shape in the Yuan and early Ming dynasties, and reached its peak in the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty. The ancient town is built by the mountain and prospered by the water. The houses of varying heights and closely packed are extremely architecturally aesthetic, fully displaying the outline of the entire ancient town. Hui Long Street is the most intact ancient street in the town, the support of the existence of the ancient town, and the charm of the ancient town.
On both sides of the street paved with large bluestone, the houses are next to each other, and the doors are next to each other, forming five lanes such as Jiulong Lane, Liu Family Lane, Baoqing Lane, Chai Market Lane, and Chicken Market Lane. On the green stone streets of the ancient town that have been stepped on by countless people, strolling leisurely, looking carefully, and taking pictures seriously, from those uneven stones, it seems to see the hustle and bustle of the ancient streets in ancient times, and also see the loneliness and coldness of the ancient streets, and even some desolation. The temples and gods worshipped in Fubao Ancient Town are quite numerous and functionally complete, which is rare in the towns in Sichuan Province. It is even rumored that Fubao Ancient Town was formed by temples. Historical materials in the Jiaqing period called it 'Buddha Treasure'. The charm of Fubao Ancient Town also lies in its cultural connotation and historical accumulation. Many movies and TV dramas have been filmed here

🟧The west gate is on the mountain with a better view, and there is a small parking lot at the entrance. This gate is the one I often use for walks
🟨The north gate is the pedestrian entrance
🟩The east gate has a large parking lot and is next to the Yangtze River. If you want to stroll along the river after visiting the lychee forest, it is recommended to navigate to the east gate
🟦I rarely use the south gate
💰Ticket: Free admission, paid parking
❗TIPS:
❤️If you go between August and September, you will see the trees laden with lychees, and in some places, you can pick them by hand!
🧡Private cars are not allowed inside Zhangba Lychee Forest unless you are staying at a hotel inside or going to a farmhouse restaurant for a meal!
💛There are sightseeing cars available inside the forest, and shared vehicles for rent by the hour, so don't worry about not being able to walk!
