Furore|The secret base of pirates, a beautiful off-the-beaten-path beach in Italy
💫Fiordo Di Furore
📍Italy·Furore
-
Furore is a small town on the western coast of Amalfi
It is one of the most unique beaches on the Amalfi Coast
This was once a hiding place for pirates
In the inconspicuous rocks of the Amalfi Coast
A canyon passes through here
Dividing Furore into two halves
Caused by river erosion
-
To drive to Furore from the main road of Amalfi
You need to slowly wind up the mountain at the fork on the east side of the canyon
After turning a large bend over the canyon
You can reach Furore
It's the village where there's light at the end of the tunnel
-
The most worth seeing in Furore
Is its fjord
The fjord is located at the bottom of the canyon
In the middle is a small beach and turquoise water
It's a wonderful scene that's hard to find without careful searching
Walk down the long stone steps
To reach the beach of the village
Locals call it Dream Island
It's a cool bathing place in summer

A non-existent village, I came to see it!
Hidden in the fjord, a secret realm of love❤️ truly a fairyland on earth|||
A niche travel destination, the Furore fjord in Italy🇮🇹
This place was once a pirate's🏴☠️ hideout, and it is the only fjord in Italy. Formed by river erosion🏞️, the bridge🌉 is the best spot to take pictures of the fjord
Furore is a small fishing village, once known as 'the village that doesn't exist', hidden at the mouth of the fjord. The houses here are scattered and have bright colors, like murals🌠 decorating the entire village.
Furore is a small fishing village, on top of a 300-meter deep valley mountain, walk down the long stone steps to reach the beach.
🚗Transportation
It takes about 20 minutes to get there by bus from Amalfi.
🪀Best Time to Visit
The best season to visit the town is from July to September each year, when the climate is pleasant and it is the preferred destination for a holiday.

I love coming back to Italy. Out last trip was to Venice and Positano and I was mind blown by how stunning both locations were.
My favourite things to do included chilling on Spiagia Beach, wandering around and searching for the best pizza places, sipping wine by the canal and stopping by gems like Fiordo di Furore. My favourite place to stay was Villa Franca in Positano.
