I've been there for a long time, and I made plan to visit again Lunphini park 🏡
I really enjoy visiting this park twice, and the location is also convenient. You can directly MRT to the Lumbhini Park
The first time I went was during the Water Lantern Festival, where I put on water lanterns at night
You can see many people on dates as well as those who exercise and run
There are many stray cats in the park who are not afraid of humans. The ecology is very good, and we also saw large lizards
Parks can also offer free boating, which is the kind of scooter used in the park when I was a child!
But the only bad memory that day was when I saw a white child throwing lizards with branches and stones all the time, and my blood pressure skyrocketed. My parents stood next to me

A Refreshing Time at Lumphini Park 💚🥰
Why is Lumphini Park famous? It'srenowned as the first public park in Bangkok and one of the most attractive and biggest urban parks in the city. Here people can do several outdoor activities and it's completely free to visit.
Went here with my friends for the very first time and we absolutely love how calming and refreshing it was to just be surrounded by trees and lush environment. We spent hours here doing nothing but admiring the gift of nature. I would honestly say that it's a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city life.

Lumpini park
It is one of the only green spaces in Bangkok, definitely not one of the best parks in the world as it is somewhat small for a main park… but it is best place to jog or walk without traffic! You will see lots of people jogging, doing tai chi and yoga every morning and evening.
A nice place to take a break from the hectic of Bangkok City. There are a lot of trees in this park. The best time to visit this park should be in the morning where the air is fresh and cooler.

Lumphini Park! 🌳
Lumphini Park is located in the centre of Bangkok and it is very nice to find a well maintained public park is such a busy setting.
The park has many facilities inside including a large lake (boats available to ride on), toilets, shops and many gyms which are free to use. The main lake has a nice fountain feature and when I was walking around it was not that busy - quiet and peaceful #urbanexplorer #mytripvlog #thailand

If you wanted to engaged in the nature for awhile, visit Lumpini Park. The place is clean, there are lot of people who went jogging here, crows are everywhere as well as monitor lizards. Big trees help a lot to produce fresh air, you can hear the birds chirping, and there are tables everywhere. You can do picnic or just chill. It is a nice place to have some break after strolling all around the Bangkok.

Lumpini Park, a central park-like existence in Bangkok.
If you come to Bangkok for shopping and eating, and still have time after strolling and eating, you can consider immersing yourself in the greenery of Lumpini Park for a moment of peace and coolness. This oasis in the city is like Bangkok's Central Park. Walking among it, the orchids on the trees by the lake are pleasing to the eye. If you like tropical animals, watch your step, as lizards may come out of the grass to greet you. I encountered two lizards of different sizes!

the most relaxing place in Bangkok
Tired of traffic? Tired of all the noise? This place has really surprised us with how calm and relaxing it is. Don’t be taken in by the pictures I’ve taken of the Komodo dragons they’re really harmless and just wandering around the whole park . You could see some people jogging, exercising or even just napping or sunbathing. I’d really recommend coming here for a small picnic or a nice little walk around.

A more beautiful park than I have ever seen. There are jogging tracks in the very center of Bangkok inside the Park. Not I am also very much inside, monitor lizards and other reptiles turtles and many other animals. I really liked the fact that it is very clean. There is a huge lake. And you can ride catamarans. Inside there are several local shops where you can buy ice cream, water and more.

Huge Green Space in Middle of Bangkok 💚
There are two very famous huge public parks in Bangkok namely Chatuchak Park and Lumpini Park.
This 140 acre park I visited is the Lumpini Park. It's across Chulalongkorn Hospital and Silom District.
It has a statue of King Rama VI at the front of the main entrance to commemorate the building of the park.
Actually you can access the park from many directions. If you drive to the park, you'll need to go to the entrance near Wireless Road where there are plenty of parking spots.
Many people will come to jog or exercise in the early morning or late afternoon since it opens at 4.30 am. and closes around 10 pm.
Occasionally, there will be exhibitions or public events like small concerts happening in the park throughout the year.
You can get there by dropping off at BTS Saladaeng Station or MRT Silom Station.

Lumphini Park is definitely not something to do in midday! But the ample tropical trees provided some much needed shade despite my bad timing. Contruction workers worked away on putting up tents for an upcoming market or event, as I wandered lazily by the winding river and lakes.

I sweated and cried, but it was worth it.
Just arrived to Thailand and had an opportunity to explore the famous Lumphini Park. It was really hot outside, i regretted not wearing any hats or caps, but still had a good walk in there. The best part were comodo dragons, some of them are surprisingly huge. Small dinosaurs, i said. But they were also suffering from the hotness and were hiding in the shadows, so barely saw them that day. Will come back, when it wont be too hot.

Lumphini Park
Lumphini Park has been a priority in my itinerary from the early stages of planning. Urban parks have always held a special appeal to me. Located in the heart of Bangkok, Lumphini Park is a tranquil oasis that offers a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of a busy city like Bangkok.
The park is impeccably maintained, boasting lush greenery, a lake, and a variety of recreational facilities. It's a delightful sight to see both locals and tourists alike taking a leisurely stroll or enjoying a refreshing jog against this natural backdrop.
One particularly charming aspect that caught my attention was the presence of numerous cats wandering, yearning, and peacefully napping in almost every corner of the park. Their presence adds a unique and lovely touch to the overall atmosphere.
While Lumphini Park may not rival the vastness of Central Park, its moderate size ensures that you can always find a quiet spot to unwind and escape the city's clamor. The size of the park strikes a balance, offering a peaceful retreat without being overwhelming.

Lumphini Park
It is a very large public park in the heart of the city where you can exercise, sweat, get sore, strengthen your leg muscles, and come back stronger. I also encountered a foreigner who was lost and asked for the nearest exit. So, I want to tell everyone that if it's your first time, remember the location of the entrance you used well, or check it on Google Maps beforehand. Otherwise, when you're tired and want to rest or go back, you might not be able to find the exit you first came in through.
I've warned you, hehe.
Here, you will find many strange architectures, basketball courts, tennis courts, swimming pools, there are ponds for pedaling boats, rowing boats, there is a zone for weightlifting, and there are a lot of cats while walking around here. There are also many crows, pigeons, and monitor lizards too. I saw a couple of them fighting over a fish they dragged onto land to eat. Foreigners were filming it quite a bit.

A pleasant park with big lizards
Many buses in Bangkok has stops here so visiting Lumpini Park is very easy and costs not much. The grass and trees here are nice enough for a walk early in the morning. The lake inside has dark green water which seems not to have the flows and there are big lizards who don’t run away when seeing people. Thais call them “tour ngern tour thong” (money and gold lizard) 😊

The ratio must be 1 cat/1 visitor 😹
I've been to Lumphini park so many times, but I keep coming back each time. I love when big cities have places to relax right in the middle of the busy streets. Even though Bangkok does have plenty of great cafes, my favorite way to have a meal has become getting something to-go and then enjoying it sat on a bench nearby one of the ponds at Lumphini Park (water monitors look ready to snatch all your snacks though!)
Another notable thing is just how many cats I've met while walking around the park. During the day they take naps in the shade, and in the evening they occupy the walkways, because they seem pretty comfortable around people. #trip #thailand #park #nature

An oasis of calm in bustling Bangkok
Lumphini park is a beautiful spot in the center of Bangkok, a stunning park built around an artificial lake which feels like a world away form the city around it. The park is smoke free and dog free and has plenty of areas to sit and relax, some food vendors inside selling some local delicacies if you are hungry.
I was really impressed by the nature in the park with it being in such a built up area, I saw so many different species of birds and of course plenty of water monitor lizards. Upon entering the park there are signs warning of the lizards but it took me a while to see them, they predominantly swim in the lake or relax on the outer ring of the water. They vary in size with some being upto 4ft long - so do be careful!
I was very lucky and managed to glimpse a water monitor catching and eating a turtle from the water! A glimpse into the food chain of this wonderful park.
Do be careful if you go betwen 10-3 as people are able to cycle within the park on the track, when I went it was very busy with cyclists so take care during these times as they cycle fast and in large groups.
The park is on many bus routes and a short walk from the Sala Daeng BTS stops or the Silom or Lumphini stops on the MTR.
