Day trip to Warwick
#celebratewithtrip #unitedkingdom #warwick #staycations
We liked Warwick more than we thought we would and really enjoyed a day trip to this town.
It has ancient origins and an array of historic buildings, notably from the Medieval, Stuart and Georgian eras. It was a major fortified settlement from the early Middle Ages, the most notable relic of this period being Warwick Castle, a major tourist attraction.
We have shared a lot of information about Warwick Castle, just check our previous posts.

Warwick Castle grounds
#celebratewithtrip #unitedkingdom #castle #warwick
Warwick castle is much bigger than we thought and we did spend a whole day at the castle grounds.
If you plan a trip, account for at least 6 hours to make the most of your visit. You can walk on the walls, visit the state rooms and the Great Hall, walk in the park and explore the Peacock Gardens.
Obviously you will need some time to eat as well. You can bring your own food or just buy something from the Castle grounds.

Wandering around Warwick Castle
#celebratewithtrip #unitedkingdom #castle #tripblazers #fallingforfall
We did a day trip to Warwick and Warwick Castle but barely got to see the city as the Castle was much bigger than we through and there were a lot of things to do.
Most castles in England you can see within a couple of hours, but Warwick Castle takes the whole day and then some to explore, so it's a fantastic day out and well worth the money! There's so much to do you will be spoiled for choice.

The views from Warwick Castle are stunning, especially on an autumn day.
We enjoyed a day out and spent most of the day admiring the Castle grounds and wandering around. A great day trip from London and we will be certainly visiting this place again.

Here comes the guide, suede's great places to visit in Wolverhampton, UK!
Date: 2023/12/13 19:00
Venue: The Civic at The Halls
Attend a Suede concert while touring!! It's really hard to have time together after starting work! This time I'm ready to combine the concert with a tour! It's really suitable, after watching the concert, you can play around in the surrounding area! Recommended attractions near Wolverhampton!
1. Shakespeare's Birthplace
Stratford-upon-Avon, a town on the banks of the River Avon, 180 kilometers west of London, is the birthplace and death place of the playwright Shakespeare. Walking into this old house, you see furniture arranged exactly as it was during Shakespeare's life, with beautifully painted walls. Shakespeare was born upstairs here, and he spent his childhood and adolescence in this place. The house displays Shakespeare's handwriting, coins of the time, and IOUs from friends who borrowed money from Shakespeare, among other items.
2. Victoria Square
Victoria Square is the heart of Birmingham city center, not very large and easy to find. The Town Hall, City Council, a statue of Queen Victoria, and the Iron Man sculpture are all buildings surrounding Victoria Square, and the famous Bather's Fountain in the center of the square is a very conspicuous landmark.
3. Warwick Castle
Warwick Castle is a medieval-style castle located in Warwick, the county town of Warwickshire, England. Situated on the edge of a cliff, it overlooks a bend in the River Avon. Warwick Castle was built by William the Conqueror in 1068, originally as a fortress, until Sir Fulke Greville converted it into a country house in the early 17th century.

The hotel was a bit far from the center but the breakfast was amazing. It is also very close to 24/7 McDonald’s which can be very helpful. The room was very clean and spacious as you can see in the picture. We just stayed for a night so I would recommend taking the hotel. The Bus stop is also just outside so it is not an issue if you are not driving.

The state rooms at Warwick Castle are so beautiful. You walk through years of history whilst admiring the way the rooms are decorated and furnished.
You can even join an organised tour of the castle (included in the price) and make sure to visit all the important aspects of the Castle. Great way to learn more as well.
Tours are running as specified times, so make sure to check these out.

The Peacock Gardens 🦚
#celebratewithtrip #unitedkingdom #warwick #castle
The Peacock Gardens are named for the magnificent birds that reside there. The gardens showcase sculptured topiaries, manicured hedges, and centrepiece fountain, as well as stunning views across the Pageant Fields.
We really enjoyed a few hours resting and admiring the views. You can also take the time for an Afternoon Tea overlooking the Gardens from the Conservatory Tea Room for an unmissable experience. This is what we did as well 👏 🙌 👍

The Great Hall, Warwick Castle, UK
#celebratewithtrip #unitedkingdom #castle #tripblazers #awesomepic
The Castle is beautiful on the inside but one place stands out for sure.
The Great Hall is the largest room in the castle and is steeped in six centuries of history.
The Great Hall was constructed in the 14th century and has had many different uses since. Where once it would have had a fire at its centre with a hole in the roof to let out smoke, it was rebuilt in the 17th century to serve as a grand entrance hall for visitors to The Earl of Warwick.
