This is the first time I've encountered a hotel that charges a penalty for early check-out. It's also the first time I've had to report my car's presence every single day for parking, and the first time they charged for more than four bottles of mineral water. You'd think it's a small place because of these details, but it's actually a large hotel with good facilities and scale. Yet, in many ways, it feels incredibly petty!

Haiyou Hotel is truly a hidden gem among budget hotels! The price is affordable, but the experience is incredibly good value. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was comfortable – it completely exceeded my expectations. For travelers on a budget who still want quality, this is definitely a top choice! The front desk staff was so warm and helpful! She proactively upgraded my room and even provided detailed information on local eateries and transportation routes. Any requests I had during my stay were addressed incredibly quickly, making me feel right at home.

A very unique hotel overlooking Qinghai Lake. Friendly staff that are super helpful and efficient. Room was clean and had a great view of the lake. Room has oxygen supply and they provide oxygen bottles each day which is a nice touch. Had a great stay overall and would highly recommend.

We were transiting in Golmud. The hotel we booked at first was not very good, so we changed to Hilton. We just looked at the reviews and decided. We thought there would be no star-level hotels in Haixi Prefecture, but the Hilton in Golmud exceeded my expectations. The lobby reception breakfast and guest rooms are all five-star standards, with full marks for details. It is also one of the few hotels with air conditioning. Takeout can be delivered to the door. There is free parking in the underground garage. The breakfast is great. The front desk lady is also very beautiful. The bathroom sanitary ware is also high-standard Duravit and Grohe. The water flow is large and the water pressure is stable, the hot water is sufficient, and there is no sewer smell. The bedding is also very good, the usual King Koil series is comfortable and easy to sleep, which relieves the fatigue of the Qinghai-Gansu Grand Loop. I will stay here again if I have the chance. Beautiful Haixi Prefecture, perfect Hilton.

For just over a hundred yuan, I didn't have high hopes, but my stay turned out to be incredibly comfortable and heartwarming from start to finish. As soon as we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming, proactively helping us out. They immediately asked if we were experiencing altitude sickness and offered oxygen tanks, which was so thoughtful. They were always on hand to refill our water without us even having to ask – their attention to detail was impeccable. The breakfast was also much better than I expected. While not lavish in variety, the food was genuinely tasty, comforting, and filling. It was wonderful to start the day with such a warm and satisfying meal, truly a happy feeling. The staff were all so sincere and down-to-earth, never perfunctory or trying to upsell. They even took the initiative to recommend local eateries and attractions, clearly explaining where to find authentic and affordable spots. They genuinely cared, just like local friends, saving us a lot of trouble. The entire accommodation was clean and tidy, making us feel safe and relaxed. The service attitude was consistently excellent from beginning to end – warm, polite, and making you feel truly valued. To get this kind of service and environment for just over a hundred yuan is incredible value for money. Among all the places we stayed during this Northwest trip, this hotel was the most comfortable and satisfying. If I ever get the chance to visit again, I would definitely choose this place, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone traveling here!

This was the best value-for-money hotel I stayed at during my time in Qinghai. InterContinental really knows how to deliver! The service was incredibly friendly, and the breakfast spread was impressive. When checking in, the front desk thoroughly explained the hotel's amenities and even openly addressed potential issues, like ongoing renovations. Though they mentioned renovations, I didn't hear any disruptive noise. My only real issue was how incredibly hot and dry the underfloor heating made the room; even with the humidifier and fan on, my nose was bleeding from the dryness, but honestly, that's more of a personal problem. The bedding was super comfortable, and they thoughtfully labeled the soft and firm pillows. Even with a bit of altitude sickness, I still managed to get a good night's sleep!

The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient for sightseeing and dining. The front desk staff and servers were very friendly and helpful. Although it's by the road, it's surprisingly quiet at night. Plus, it's easy to catch a bus to the train station and tourist attractions.

The room was incredibly spacious, and we even got a free upgrade to a deluxe room. The high floor offered an amazing view, especially since we were there during the Lantern Festival and could see the fireworks all over the city. The hotel's location is excellent. The Airport Bus Line 2 stop is just 50 meters away, and Xinghai Road right outside is full of great food options. I was in such a rush when checking out that I left my charging cable behind. The front desk staff, especially Deji, was incredibly helpful and even mailed it back to me – I really appreciate it! 🙏 It was a fantastic stay, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next business trip! 👍

Despite being in a bustling area, the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a completely undisturbed stay.
