Hotel located close to La Fortuna Waterfall and the trail to Cerro Chatota (lake where once was the crater of a volcano).
Excellent option for those who want to go on the trail, as non-guests need to pay a fee of 15 dollars to enter the property (the trail starts within the hotel grounds). The trail is not for everyone, the difficulty level is high.
Old but functional rooms. Friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel staff at the front desk are friendly. The shuttle bus is convenient; late-night flights after 1 AM require reservations. The hotel offers scenic mountain views with sheep and cattle grazing below. Soundproofing is average. Even with the air conditioning off, the room temperature is around 23 degrees Celsius. The bed is a bit firm. There's a department store next door; it gets crowded on holidays, with about an hour's wait for a meal.

Excellent location and facilities. Convenient shuttle service and inclusive breakfast.
This is the cleanest Hampton by Hilton I have so far stayed at!
One thing to consider in lactose and gluten free options for a breakfast, other than that, I have absolutely enjoyed my stay and will be back again and again!

We arrived to find a beautiful hotel
In a lush setting with the most beautiful foliage with tropical birds. The grounds were a paradise. Every morning we were serenaded with the songs of all the different bird species. The restaurant was an excellent Italian restaurant that we would recommend to anyone. The staff was always happy to provide any assistance with a smile.

Check out but you can only really one hour, since they charge a whole night longer, I did it because I arrived at the hotel at 2am and had a flight at 9pm, therefore it was not much what I was, they should at least help with 2 hours. Rest all very good, the transfer service to the hotel excellent

This house is so strategically located, less than 10mins to the airport...Hernandez is so helpful, assisted me with the laundry and offered pick up n drop off service to the airport for just 5 USD.
Breakfast is self service with fresh fruit and milk etc.
Definitely gonna stay here again when I come back to Costa Rica next time!

GGuest UserWe found the shuttle from the airport to the hotel quite easily :) Once at the hotel, check-in was seamless and the staff were kind. The room was spacious and clean. We found the restaurant downstairs to have really delicious food (our supper and next day day breakfast buffet were amazing). We would highly recommend this hotel to other travellers!
