Perfectly fine, non descript business style hotel. Short walk from old town so easy access but quiet. Placed to eat etc downstairs. Clean. Helpful staff.
Located right in front of Viru Gate, the entrance to Tallinn's Old Town, the hotel offers panoramic views of the city from the higher floors. It's a very large hotel, attached to a shopping mall. There were no signs inside the mall, so it was difficult to find my way around on my first visit. The room was clean, and the breakfast was average.
Because I want to take a boat to Helsinki, I specially booked this hotel that is relatively close to the pier. Taking a bolt to the pier costs about 4 euros. In fact, there are several shopping malls near the hotel, including supermarkets and food courts. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the old town, which is very convenient.
The front desk is courteous. When you check in, you will be given two hand straps, which you can use to bring into the swimming pool and sauna. The room is tidy and larger than expected. Our room is located on a high-rise building facing the inner street, so it is not noisy.
Rich breakfast options, perfect for a short stay in Tallinn
There is a sister hotel next to it, metropol hotel, which is older and has foreign groups staying there, so be sure not to make a mistake.

This is the first hotel in Europe I've stayed in that truly deserves a perfect score. It's ideally located right in the Old Town, offering a tranquil retreat despite its central position. The rooms are incredibly spacious, and the facilities are modern and well-maintained. Breakfast is decent, featuring a standard Western selection. Plus, right downstairs, you'll find Tallinn Old Town's top-rated Chinese restaurant.
Rooms are clean and comfy and hotel even has a covered swimming pool !!
4 mins walk to the famous Old Town and 1 min walk to the Rotermann City. Really convenient and spoilt for food choice. Good exercise for any one wanting to explore Tallinn.
A basic good Hyatt hotel. Clean, stylishly decorated. The biggest minus is the restaurant and lobby. The soundproofing is poor. The restaurant and lobby are incredibly noisy. One big, loud group at dinner, you can't hear anything the waiter is trying to say or a conversation with someone else is impossible. You can't enjoy your time in the restaurant. The clinking and clanking of dishes could be heard all the way to the reception.
The portion was far too expensive for the quality. Schnitzel €29. Schnitzel (pork) maybe max 150g a few potatoes and two sauces. The max price for this would be €20. If it was made from beef, the price €29 would be ok.
The service was absolutely fantastic. That's the pluses.
Everything was very good. I loved the breakfast and the service. Everyone was very friendly and committed to guest satisfaction from check-in to check-out. Highly recommended. Maria explained to me the places where the locals usually go. Another receptionist gave me a free pass to a club. And so, each and every one was very good.
outside of old town, still walkable distance. room was super spacious and had all the amenities that we wanted: bathrobe, hairdryer, slippers.
was an enjoyable one night stay!
I booked a zen room on Trip.com, it was a special offer. When I arrived at the hotel, I was first given a standard room because the reservation had come with them as a standard room instead of a zen room. They apologized, but they also kept repeating that they would upgrade me for free. It's not an upgrade that I get a room that I have paid for and that Trip.com sold me. They should and should have sorted out the matter directly through Trip. The room itself was clean, the jacuzzi was so loud that it was impossible to use it for relaxation. In addition, the plug was stuck, making it difficult to empty. The food in the restaurant was substandard. Breakfast, on the other hand, was really good. Lots of things that could be fixed with a little effort.

MMikeJMJonesThis is a typical 3.5 star European hotel. It is in an excellent location in the middle of the Tallinn Old Town, has comfortable but typically-smallish double rooms, wonderful breakfasts, and warm ac. I would recommend it to couples. However, we would not stay here again. Even though we booked and were fully paid more than 2 months before the hotel stay, we were told on our arrival that our room had been, ”double booked”. We were dispatched to a room with smaller than single beds positioned end to end in a room that resembled a school camp facility. When I suggested that this was unsatisfactory, the front desk person stated in front of other guests, ”That's too bad”. After walking the old town and returning, the manager had placed us in a better room for one night and we then had our pre-booked room for the next three nights. Additionally, the lift does not extend to the 4th floor so it was a struggle carrying large suitcases up stairs and across other uneven floors. Finally at check out, the receptionist insisted that our original payment was rejected by ”their system” so I had to pay again. She withdrew the allegation after I showed her a stamped receipt. She then retorted, ”must have been a system error”. In my opinion, two different staff members could benefit from some serious service-industry professional development. However, other staff were very friendly and helpful; it was a very central location; and the breakfasts were delicious.

FFilipp TimMy room was tidy and neat, all amenities were available. There was a spacious and really comfy interior in my room including a queen-size bed, wardrobe, table, chargers, TV, and great private bathroom.
PPetra KarimiesVery nice hotel and excellent location with parking places. Only minus was that it's not for free (10€/night). Not possible to adjust the room temperature.

NnidriksVilla Kadriorg is a budget friendly hostel/hotel that is on a direct bus route to the old town. If not for major upgrade works to the tram network then I believe it would also be on the tram line.
I found my room comfy enough, if a little warm. It was a very warm few days in Tallinn though. Sadly, my room was right above a bar playing music until past 10pm. If you needed an early night to catch transport then that might be a problem.
There's free WiFi and a small shared kitchen. The shared showers were a little grubby, but I suspect that is to be expected. There was also a bit of noise from some of the younger guests after 10.
Sounds like I had a miserable stay but that is not so. Just be aware that the price will attract youngsters.
I'd say that Villa Kadriorg is good value for money and a fine place to rest a weary head after a long day walking around beautiful Tallinn.
CChenweixiongThe Tallink Spa & Conference Hotel is a well-known hotel located in Tallinn, Estonia. It is part of the Tallink Group, which is a leading provider of passenger transport and tourism services in the Baltic Sea region.
The hotel is designed to offer a combination of comfortable accommodations, conference facilities, and spa services. It features a variety of room types, ranging from standard rooms to spacious suites, all equipped with modern amenities such as flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, and private bathrooms.
One of the highlights of the hotel is its spa facilities, which include saunas, pools, relaxation areas, and a wide range of wellness treatments and massages. Guests can indulge in a rejuvenating spa experience during their stay.
SsnoozyharuThe standard room bathroom is in desperate need of a renovation. Old style gradient floor tiles for the shower, with a shower curtain too close if you're a normal sized person. If you need to provide a floor squeegee you know there's a problem.
The room overall is clean and comfortable. Free parking onsite is a plus as it's far away from old town centre. Plan your driving and parking routes and you will likely save on parking overnight at other hotels.
Big shopping centre opposite is convenient.
Couldn't really hear much aircraft noise, probably because it's not a very busy airport, especially at night.
However, got unlucky with the window facing a floor which was very loud when it rained the whole night.
