IT FELT SO LUXURY AND FOR THE PRICE I PAID I COULDN’T BELIEVE IT EVEN MORE ONCE I GOT THERE.
THE PRIVATE HOT TUB WAS A BLISS 😭 me and my friend had to skip common hot tub facilities that other accoms offered as it is either far from our room or it is open late in the evening meanwhile this one is private and u can use whenever except the jet has to be off after xx hour to not disturb the other rooms.
I just love how private your room can be and just the view of akureyri while it was still bright outside to how the lights from Akureyri just blast your view and overlooking the mountain.
Loved the dark rich interior vibe North Mountain View Suites is giving.
Everything is nice. The design is just chefs kiss—i felt so rich and expensive lol. There’s even netflix and youtube and big modern tv in the room, private tub which you must dip yourself!!!, bath robes, hanger, literally not just big fridge but also freezer?!?! and yes, the suites leave a mint chocolate, coke, sprite and spring water in the fridge pls have it!!! There’s even oven 😭😭 Yes, the room is complete and have everything. IT IS JUST SO PERFECT!!
If you love the mint choc (sirius brand), please drop by Bonus supermarket and you can get it for cheapest price (cheaper than Netto too!!!) oof yes we went to Netto and Bonus in Borgarnes all to hunt the exact mint choc bar 🤭
If you’re in Akureyri, please book this suites!!!!

WWanmanI booked two rooms at this hotel because the booking showed a discount for booking two at a time, so I did. The first room staff arranged an accessible room for me, so the toilet is larger, the room can play a suitcase more than enough, the room does not have slippers or water (actually all in Europe), hygiene is no problem, but the second room I was more dissatisfied, the room is super small and roof It's a sloping roof, every time I get up I hit my head, the room doesn't even have a trash can, only the toilet has an extremely small trash can for throwing sanitary napkins, no hooks to hang clothes, I don't know if I booked a special room to arrange this room, if so, I'm not short of twenty yuan euros to book a little, (If this room is arranged because of the special price, I hope to list when booking) Because the booking did not show what room to stay, breakfast is quite good, staff service is no problem, there is free public parking outside the hotel, so I will book this hotel next time,

__M1397716****The room was spacious and clean, with excellent hygiene. The view from the window was beautiful, offering sights of the sunrise and numerous small volcanic craters. Check-in and parking were convenient. The front desk even asked if we'd like to be notified about the Northern Lights, which was a very thoughtful touch. That evening, I managed to capture many photos of the aurora. We heard there's a free hot spring, but we weren't aware of it and missed out. Breakfast was plentiful.

TthewandercuratorOur lake-view ensuite mini-cabin was great for our 1 night stay at Myvatn, with sufficient parking space, clean geothermal shower and use of shared kitchen and lounge (even common BBQ grill) attached to our 4 mini-cabin cluster. We only wished there is a dustbin in our room (not just the toilet bin). Loved its quiet lakefront location with the Dimmuborgir lava fields and Hverfell crater just behind it. Continental breakfast spread was great with local specialities and waffles. Tip: Walk along the lake path outside the guesthouse at sunset. Myvatn nature baths are also less than 5-min drive away. There are plenty of midges in summer and while they were a minor bother and do not bite, just remember not to open the windows without the blinds in the warmer afternoons or evenings.

GGuest UserUpon arrival at the apartment, the reception is no longer staffed. On the door hangs a phone number where you can reach the apartment. The person on the other side of the phone first asks us why we do not use the code that we should have received by e-mail. Checked E-Mail Account - mentioned E-mail missing. According to the apartment, this would be sent two days in advance. Since we had not booked two days in advance - impossible.
So now checked in by phone, everything ok.
On to the first real point of criticism.
When opening the room door, a strong smell hits you, which tries to cover the bathroom smell - long airing with a wide open window creates some relief.
When checking the bed, one finds reddish, brownish stains on the bed cover - very unattractive.
We were accommodated in room 25. The location is unfortunately unfavorable. The room gets the full street noises.
Now to our biggest point of criticism: from about 00:30am until after 02:00am, an Asian tour group turned night into day! The hotel cannot be held responsible for human stupidity and antisocial behavior such as door slamming, loud talking and laughing in the corridors. Such behavior can unfortunately happen anytime and anywhere, but an entrance door that slams into the lock so loudly every single time that everyone in the hotel must hear it and you are always startled out of your sleep is simply unacceptable.
Last but not least, the tour group had finished their party - thank goodness, and you thought peace would turn in, the small refrigerator inside the room started up. Humming loudly, it wouldn't let you fall asleep for another perceived eternity.
All in all, this was unfortunately the worst and most nerve-wracking accommodation of our 15-day Iceland tour so far. We can not recommend this apartment, nor would we come back again.

GGuest UserMy wife and me were staying at room 202 on Sep 11, 3025. Room 202is at 1st floor. The room itself is pretty good, but the noise sound is very loud, not sure other rooms. The noise is constant, so it’s hard to go to sleep, both my wife and me were awake for almost whole night. I believe the owner or the manager was aware the loud noise, because 2 pair ear plugs were provided on night table, initially I thought the owner or the manager was sweet, but actually it’s a bad sigh already, I am pretty sure the previous customers complained this loud noise many times, but just didn’t do much to improve it, and want to trap more new customers. Hope the owner can refund me

GGuest UserThe room was clean and hygienic, though a bit small. Parking was convenient and free. The hotel's location is excellent, making it easy to get anywhere. There are several round hot spring pools for guests to enjoy. Plus, there's a fantastic farm-to-table restaurant nearby.

CCindyheartsDieselWe stayed in superior room. The aprtment is located on the 2nd floor of the local shop(Icewear). The parking is on the back side of the shop .It is free between 4.00pm-10.00am
Location is great in the middle shopping street with great hotdogs stands.
The apartment has 1 bedroom and attic(quiet high to claim). Bathtoom with washing machine.
Kitchen is good and well equiped.
With the weather warning , lucky us that we can book the same room for another night. So we don't need to check in again.
