He shuttled us in the sand jeep, gifted me a cake for my birthday, and was just an overall cool guy. Thanks! Second, the location and accommodations. If you stay near Desert Star, there’s a lot of people and campsites - that area seems like a bit of a tourist funnel. This area is located in the REAL sand dunes area. Further North, you actually cross into Inner Mongolia. The separation and distance is worth it. Makes for brighter stars and a more authentic experience. Third, the food. They were able to coordinate a whole lamb to be roasted for my birthday. It was absolutely extraordinary. The sides for it were some of the best I had on the entire trip - they have some skilled chefs there. This place has great reviews, and it’s worth it. I do recommend this to foreigners, and I hope I can return one day.

As a new establishment, both the hardware and cleanliness are impeccable, offering great value for money. It's perfect for both leisure travel and short stays, highly recommended. A fantastic experience! Located right in a vineyard, it was so quiet and beautiful – truly wonderful. The food was delicious, and the wine was excellent too. From there, you can gaze at the Helan Mountains and really soak in the unique, fruity aroma of the vineyard. The room was spacious, and the service was outstanding. They were incredibly excited the whole time, playing in the sand and sandboarding during the day, stargazing at night, and attending a bonfire party – they were so happy they didn't want to sleep!
