This is a very convenient and efficient small hotel, ideal for a short stay of one or two nights due to its proximity to the main attractions.
The rooms are notably spacious, and the bathrooms are very clean. The staff received high praise for being very friendly.
A small note for international travelers: the breakfast is very Chinese in style. As such, it may lack common Western options like coffee, but aside from that, it's an excellent choice for a short stay.

This hotel continues to impress me after multiple stays. The in-room facilities are complete and well-maintained, and all sorts of daily necessities are fully stocked. The housekeeping is meticulous and thorough; the room is clean and tidy, and the bathroom is free of standing water and grime, making for a worry-free stay. The service team is kind and attentive, proactively offering thoughtful services like drinking water and travel directions. Transportation is a breeze; the airport shuttle stops right at the hotel entrance, saving time and effort for trips to and from the airport. The floor-to-ceiling windows on the upper floors offer an exceptional view, and the city lights at night are picturesque, with the stunning nightscape truly soothing away travel fatigue. It's my top choice for travel. (Airport shuttle)

Great location and very good service from front door and the cleaner
Warmly asked us for anything we need and try to fulfill our requirement at their best
We requested water for drinking and hanger to hang our clothes after washing and dry with dryer and the hotel management helped us with it.
The room is big enough for 5 pax and clean

Facilities: Excellent, no problem. Disposable kettles are wasteful; I suggest using kettles that are universally accepted nationwide.
A complimentary breakfast was provided. Room upgrade: 99 yuan.
Service: Attentive and warm, polite, and quick to fix the TV.
Environment: Large and convenient parking lot, with green slow charging available. Price: 1.2 yuan per unit.
The biggest problem is the hotel name isn't prominent; the characters ”56” are too small to see while driving, almost causing me to miss the entrance. The ”Shangpin Hotel” sign, on the other hand, is very eye-catching. I wonder what the owner was thinking? It would be best to put up a ”Yi 56 Hotel” sign before the car entrance.
Extending one more night, today I visited the Qinghai Provincial Museum and Art Museum. Tomorrow I'll head back to Chongqing.

This stay was absolutely perfect! The hotel boasts a superb location, right next to the subway station and shopping district, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and shopping. The lobby was elegant and welcoming, and the front desk staff were efficient and friendly. The rooms were spacious and bright, with soft and comfortable bedding, and the bathroom was spotless with a separate shower and toilet. The staff were attentive and friendly, from the concierge to the housekeeping staff, all wearing smiles and making us feel right at home. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, a wonderful blend of Chinese and Western flavors. Whether for business or leisure travel, this is an ideal choice, highly recommended!
I have to rave about the Star Dome room at Solitude Inn! The facilities are perfectly suited for high altitudes – air conditioning, water heater, so you'll be comfortable no matter how much the temperature fluctuates between day and night. Plus, L'Occitane toiletries and a humidifier, the attention to detail is outstanding. And the environment? Simply stunning! The hexagonal dome is nestled in the Gobi desert, surrounded by Yardang formations and salt lakes. With no city light pollution, the stars are incredibly bright and breathtaking. It's perfect for photos, and stargazing is so therapeutic. A must-stay on the Qinghai-Gansu loop!
The mattress was so comfortable I wished I could take it home with me! I was genuinely sad to leave at check-out, and I've already enthusiastically recommended it to all my siblings, LOL. The hotel service was so exceptional, I honestly felt like a VIP, even though I'm just a regular guest! The quality you get for this price point is truly astonishing – far superior to other hotels in the same area.
For a short getaway to witness the sunset and sunrise, I opted for this hotel. Its surroundings were surprisingly pleasant – exceptionally clean, hygienic, and boasting beautiful views. The room itself was equipped with smart home features throughout, and a full set of disposable amenities was provided, which was a very thoughtful touch. I had anticipated it might get cold late at night, but I didn't feel any chill at all. The stir-fried dishes for dinner were delicious, perfectly seasoned. If you arrive early, you can even join the Guozhuang dance to experience the local ethnic culture. In stark contrast, the Brandy Hotel we stayed at on our second night simply couldn't compare. It was cramped, felt cold, and didn't even offer disposable bath towels, which was quite disappointing.

GGuest UserThe staff at this hostel is very kind hearted and welcoming — we even received a free room upgrade, which was such a lovely surprise! The interior is cozy and the location is also great, with a nearby bus stop, multiple restaurants and a supermarket.

GGuest UserThe room itself was decent, though the hotel's decor is a bit dated. The bathroom's exhaust fan was quite weak. The hotel entrance is located on a slope, which can be a bit of a climb, and the area right outside the entrance is a bit narrow, making parking not very convenient.
We were experiencing some mild altitude sickness, and the staff were very helpful, readily assisting us with our luggage. Both the staff and the front desk were proactive and eager to help whenever we had a request, which was much appreciated.
They offer a free airport shuttle service, which is a great perk. However, it would be beneficial if guests were informed about this service upon check-in. I spent a long time trying to book a Didi ride that day with no success, and only found out about the shuttle service when I went to the front desk to inquire. On a positive note, I accidentally left an item behind when checking out, and they promptly helped me mail it back.
RrobinmetralThe two people managing this hotel are very helpful, despite the language barrier. They went out of their way to find a laundry shop for us, and made sure we were OK with the room.
The room itself is a bit dated, but functional. The main downside for us was the lack of ”real towel” (only single use towels are provided.
For light sleepers, keep in mind that the popular night market street is just below. It can be noisy until quite late in the night.
Otherwise, the location is ideal: close to many eateries, the main mosque, and convenient transportation.

GGuest UserThe location is super close to Chaka Salt Lake. The young lady was very welcoming; I asked her to show us the rooms first, and she patiently guided us. I saw the rooms were really nice and clean, so we decided to stay.
The price was excellent, and I was so happy with the environment – clean and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was also very good, and every staff member was enthusiastic. They refilled the breakfast promptly; it was delicious and very convenient. If you're visiting Chaka Salt Lake, definitely stay here – the price is just right. It was also a very comfortable stay, and the food was good too.
I didn't take any photos of the hotel, but the environment is exactly as they advertised.
GGuest UserThe room is OK, the standard of a comfortable hotel, but it is not soundproof and too noisy. You can hear people talking outside. However, the service attitude of the front desk is very good, and they also gave souvenirs to the children. The children are very happy. The price in summer is definitely more expensive than usual. This cannot be avoided when traveling with children. It is very close to Chaka Salt Lake. The Sichuan restaurant next to the hotel is delicious
CConwayI drove my car there, and the parking was awesome. The hotel’s location is right near the water, and has a very beautiful view (they gave me a free upgrade to a lake view). The staff treated me so kindly, and I don’t think they have many foreign guests there, especially coming by car and alone ! One of the staff there could even speak English!!! I was so surprised. Highly recommend this hotel, and also, I highly recommend paying the extra money for a Lake view….it is worth it !
QQiangqiangsanrenxingAfter seeing this hotel in Heimahe Town, I immediately canceled my original reservation! Overall, this one is much better! Parking is convenient, the rooms are spacious, and the facilities, while a bit dated, are quite complete. I had a great rest! There are many dining options around the hotel, and the view from the window is a joy! Breakfast isn't included, but I don't understand why the rating on Ctrip is so low. Perhaps there are issues we didn't encounter! The hotel's service is excellent! During peak tourist season, it feels just fine in the Heimahe area of Qinghai Lake! Highly recommended! I hope the hotel improves its overall service level and builds a good reputation, so that it can attract more guests and continue to make a fortune! Keep it up!
