Great location, just a leisurely 10-minute walk to the beach, and plenty of cafes, restaurants, and shops nearby.
The service was outstanding. The staff were friendly and very responsive. Rooms were clean, and the bed was comfortable. Housekeeping was daily, and the linens were changed frequently (about 7 times in 10 days). They even wished my husband a happy birthday, which was a lovely touch. When I fell ill, they brought me ginger and honey tea.
The only thing missing was a balcony.

Mixed feelings about the hotel, it was my second time and fifth hotel on the island. It's a fine hotel but you wont feel pampered.
+Perfect location if you want to stay at station 1, about 20 min walk to all the fun. The room is huge, clean and beautiful. They left good night wishes and cookies in the room every night which was a very nice touch.
- check out at 11; the fruit at breakfast was given out in portions rather than buffet style which I found really strange and cheap for this type of hotel. There was no water dispencer and the water wasnt offered at the beach as well as at the restaurant when I stayed there for lunch and dinner. Even though it's offered in all the restaurants on the island and even cheaper hotels have water dispensers in the halls or rooms.

We stayed as a couple in the penthouse. It was very spacious, comfortable, and beautiful. The style was a bit Balinese. It's located further and higher than all the other rooms. Sometimes monkeys would visit the nearby tree.
The hotel has a cozy restaurant that serves excellent breakfasts. At other times, you can order from the menu. The food was delicious, portions were generous, and the price was average for Boracay.
The hotel is located 200 meters from the sea on the first line. This is the best beach around.
Regarding the downsides: it's situated between a construction site and a small cemetery. There's hardly any noise from the construction, and almost none from the cemetery either (okay, okay, it's totally quiet there! đ). This might be an important detail for some, but otherwise, the hotel is top-notch.
The service at the hotel is peculiar (lazy and inattentive), just like everywhere else in Boracay.
Nice and clean rooms with massage area and swimming pool. Food is also good although linited in choices. We will definitely stay here if we happen to visit Roxas city again
Very disappointing experience at Solina. This was supposed to be a special family dinner and stay because I have recommended this place many times before. Unfortunately, this visit was the worst weâve had.
First, the food during our family dinner package was extremely disappointing. When the dishes were served, everything was already cold. The portions were also shockingly small considering the price. The Daing na Bangus, which costs â±550 per serving, was about the size of a small saucer. The stuffed squid (â±530) was literally spoon-sized. The calamares was mostly thick flour coating with very little squid inside. For the price we paid, the quality and portion sizes were unacceptable.
What made the experience even worse was the service from the front desk. I called to request another laundry bag because only one plastic laundry bag was placed in the room even though there were two guests checked in. Considering Solina is a beach resort, itâs very normal for guests to have wet clothes and extra laundry. I was told that they only provide one plastic bag and that an additional one would cost â±20.
This was surprising because this is already my fourth time staying at Solina, and in previous visits we were never charged when asking for an extra laundry bag. Our clothes were very wet and simply asked if they could provide any plastic bag, but the front desk staff refused.
After I ended the call, I picked up the phone again about 10 seconds later to talk to them, but it seemed they had not hung up their phone properly. I clearly heard them mocking me and saying, âSi Attorney na naman?â That was extremely rude and very unprofessional.
From the reservation process, to check-in, to the food, and especially the attitude of the front desk staff , this experience was very disappointing. I used to recommend Solina to my workplace and family, which is why we even chose to hold our family gathering here. Sadly, this visit made us regret that decision.
The food was bad and overpriced, and the front desk staff were rude and disrespectful behind guestsâ backs. Definitely not the experience we expected.
High marks
- breakfast (lots of choices, intricate and delicious)
- room is spotless, clean, spacious and bed is soooo comfortable
- love the shampoo, conditioner and lotions
- right beside the hotel there is a food complex for even more food choices
- concierge helps on getting taxis
Low marks
- this could be a one time thing that my room blackout in the middle of the night for awhile and after that tv has no signal til morning and the aircon malfunctioned stating aircon filter need to be cleaned

We stayed from Feb 25th to March 1st. It's a decent hotel for a quiet stay. It's about a lazy 10-minute walk to the second station, and there's a supermarket about 200 meters away. The hotel consists of two buildings that are close to each other. There's a bar on the rooftop if you're too lazy to go anywhere else, you can kill some time there. Nearby, there's a cafe, like the ones in Anapa, where you can get grilled chicken for 450 pesos. The air conditioning is quiet, and the bed and pillows are comfortable. Hot water is available. All the staff are smiling and eager to please, almost a bit over-the-top for my taste. For breakfast, there are 4 dishes, so you won't go hungry. Overall, if you're not looking for a place right on the beach, it's a good option.

I keep on coming back to this hotel whenever I am in Aklan and still gets amazed with the coordinated work of the employees and how they exceeded my expectations. Coastâs best assets are not just the location, timely airport transfer, their Filipino breakfast buffet, but most of allâ-its employees.
Thank you to Zel, Mercy, the concierge, Vea, Bryan/drivers, the guys who helped take care of us while on the beach, and I forgot the other names butâ to everyone who made our stay really pleasantly memorable, thank you!
1000% great staff ! Little bit of a logistical nightmare but overall the rooms very nice but if you require a smart tv book the highest room available and if not kind of out of luck . The staff did eventually make things right but the bedroom still did not have smart tv to be viewed from the bed . Overall good hotel just check rooms befor booking .

The hotel is close to the beach but the road to the beach is disgusting . It is one of the worst roads to the beach I have ever seen during my travels around the world. The road to the beach looks like it was after the III world war. It is worse than fawela in Rio de Janeiro. I cannot believe that the Philippines people live like this. Ext to the best Beach in the world!
The hotel architecture is nice, paint for white color. In my room number 110 everything is fine apart from two white paint touches that look new and are not composed with original paintings.
The people who work in this hotel are nice and Friendly. Hotel staff service only breakfast in the morning after that it's not possible to buy any food only drink. Do not drink complimentary powder coffee inside the room because it tastes like xxx.
Internet speed is acceptable for social media users.
I can resend this hotel only if you are willing to taxi to the beach because the road to the beach and main road looks like a big trap

CChloe C. LinThe service was excellent, as expected of a COAST hotel. Every staff member was smiling and ready to assist every guest. They were responsive to requests and remembered guests' names, making guests feel respected. The room had everything they needed, but the facilities were quite old, the soundproofing was poor, and there was a lot of mold in the bathroom. I strongly suggest the hotel renovate it. It's about a five-minute walk to the beach.
GGuest UserStayed 2 days and 3 nights. Room was small but fit 4 people; wish there was a side table or small cabinet, and a freshener in the bath/toilet. For the price with free breakfast, still worth it! Staff gave excellent service, and you can freely use their kitchen for your own meals.

AAleksandr P.We returned to this hotel again from Gigantes Island and stayed for another 3 days. We were satisfied with everything, the only bad thing was that there were strong low tides in the sea. The staff is very responsive and attentive. There is shampoo, toothpaste, toilet paper and bottled water in the room, the breakfast is very filling and tasty.
RRoCalAmazing view. Superb service. Worth it!
These are the words that can sum up our staycation at Harlan Beach Villa resort located at Station 1 in Boracay.
The location is towards the end of Station 1 where there is more privacy and less crowd and you get to enjoy your own beachfront.
The beach is literally 10 steps from the villa.
We booked for 4 days, 3 nights and it was all worth it.
First, the view! OMG! From sunrise to sunset, it just feels so surreal to have such a peaceful view of paradise. And the most amazing part is we get the best view of the sunset right in the villa.
When it comes to service, OMG too! They are attentive to all our needs that you donât need to ask them. They took care of us even to the point that wherever we go, one staff would accompany us to bring our stuff and if we go to enjoy water activities, they would also chaperone us, bring towels and water.
And, the best part is we have our own private chef! He can literally cook whatever we are craving for even if itâs not in the menu. And man, the taste is just on point! We didnât even dare to eat at other restaurants because why would we when we got the best chef!
Harlan also offered us a complementary massage which made us feel even more relaxed.
Overall, the experience was just amazing. You will definitely get what you pay for! Itâs not cheap but itâs all worth it.

GGuest UserThe hotel environment is great, and it offers good value for money. The cleaning staff are incredibly diligent; they even tidied up our room again just two hours after we'd left. However, the restaurant experience was disappointing. The cashier was unenthusiastic and had a disdainful attitude. The bill was 421 yuan, and even after I gave 500 yuan, they didn't bother to give me change. Most of the staff are locals from the island, and their English pronunciation isn't standard.
GGuest UserFriendly staff and quite clean. The restaurant by the beach was great, reasonable prices and good food. Very close to popular instagram locations, Iâ€ïžBoracay sign and Palm tree for sunset pictures
