I arrived at the airport in the evening and stayed one night nearby before picking up a rental car the next morning for a self-drive trip north. The hotel is close to the airport and offers a free shuttle bus, which is great! Service: You need to call the front desk for the shuttle after arriving, which was a bit of a challenge for my English listening skills, especially since the pick-up spot wasn't exactly as described online. Luckily, Perth Airport isn't too big. The next morning, I took the shuttle back to the airport to pick up my car, again for free. This is a huge plus in high-cost Australia 👍 Environment: The hotel is located by the highway, but the courtyard is quiet and clean. Hygiene: The windows in the room couldn't be opened, and there was a strong smell of cleaning solution that wouldn't dissipate. Other than that, everything else was fine.

If you stay consecutively, you need to clean the room. You must go to the front desk to remind the hotel to clean the room and replenish the supplies in the room, otherwise the hotel will not clean the room for guests staying consecutively. However, the hotel environment is still good.

I read online that parking was $65, but that's actually just for the area in front of the hotel lobby. I asked a bellboy and found out there's a free parking lot not far behind the hotel, which was great! They also have a heated pool, but I was too tired to try it on my first day. Unfortunately, our stay at Pullman Bunker Bay was very disappointing, particularly when it came to service and cleanliness. The resort itself is in a beautiful location and our room was quite spacious, but that was overshadowed by what felt like a serious lack of staff and attention to guests. Our room was not properly serviced until around 5 PM, which is extremely late, and even after housekeeping had been through, there was still rubbish left beside the desk that had not been cleaned up. The biggest disappointment, however, was the service. Several staff members came across as rude and unaccommodating, and we simply did not feel the level of hospitality you would expect from a property positioning itself as a five-star resort. On our check-out day, we politely asked reception whether we could have just 15 additional minutes to check out, and the request was refused. We understand that late check-out is subject to availability, but considering we were asking for only 15 minutes, the inflexibility and manner in which it was handled left a particularly poor final impression. For a five-star property, you expect attentive service, properly cleaned rooms and staff who make guests feel welcome. Unfortunately, that was not our experience here. The location and spacious rooms have great potential, but the service and housekeeping standards need significant improvement. Based on our stay, I would not consider the overall experience to be at a five-star level.
