What a lovely weekend stay at this most characterful resort hotel. A great vibe among the team leading to a friendly, professional and courteous guest experience from arrival and check-in, to dining, evening of drinks around the real fire and a beautiful breakfast following a comfortable restful night in a clean room and lovely freshen up shower in the morning. L’accueil n’était pas du tout chaleureux. Noys avons reçu 2 chambres qui ne correspondaient pas du tout aux photos sur le site. L’une avait les 2 fenêtres qui donnaient durectement sur 1 toit. L’autre chambre avait les 2 fenêtres près du plafond. Donc aucune vue pour les 2 chambres. La 2ème faisait carrément ”prison”. La chambre était propre mais tout ce qui était communs (réception, corridors, loundge) laissaient beaucoup à désirer et paraissaient vieux et malpropres. Cet hôtel tient de l’usine à touristes. Je ne recommanderais pas cet hôtel à quelqu'un qui recherche quelque chose de cosy et chaleureux pour séjourner. Mais il est fonctionnel.

On arrival we were allocated a very small, went back to reception and this was sorted. My gripe is the now £10.00 per day parking charge. However you can park elsewhere for free. This will now make choosing the Angus hotel as not a first option as the main reason for going is the spa facilities unfortunately they are now getting tired and in need of TLC as is the hotel.

This venue is really a hidden gem up to a point , the Chef and kitchen ( paticularly the Haddock and Poached Eggs at Breakfast which is Michelin Star level ) the spa and swimming pool are kept to a good standard of hygene , however there is a serious problem with service which is evident from the staff behind the bar ( Saturday 4th May to be specific ) where it was plainly evident for all of the guests seated in the lounge to witness the grief that was being given to the Restaurant Host and other waiting staff by the two individulas behind the bar who were making their life's a misery by poor attitude and unhelpfulness when rightfully they were chasing restaurant drink orders which were painfully slow on deliverance attributed totally to the ineptness of the bar staff . Its about time that Providence Hotels boss Mr Neil Hughes and Blantyre Capital and Fairtree Alternative Real Estate were made aware of this as it is not fair on the efforts made by the other staff who are being dragged down needlessly by the bar staffs under performance , ineptness and demeanour .

Very nice scenic, good for couples or family to relax, enjoy the nature and the sun. Restaurant’s food is in good quality. Good selection of drinks. Room was a bit old with old carpet and bed. Probably need renovation. Evaluator not working so we need to take the stairs with our luggage’s.

Kenmore is a beautiful location and the area is a stunning area of natural beauty in Scotland. That said, having stayed at this resort before, I was disappointed with the cleanliness and maintenance of not only the lodges but the leisure centre. The lodge itself had peeling wall paper and chips around light switches and old frying pans, all things which are easily maintained and/or changed. The pool area is lovely but pool was cold and one of only two showers were out of order due to a cracked base in the ladies. This was a relatively cheap break but despite this I do feel the Kenmore club is looking a little shabby and in much need of an overhaul or at least some renovation to keep up with the neighbouring hotels and lodges which are more modern and well kept

We enjoyed our stayed as a family but the service and food in the buffet style restaurant at night was very poor as food was cold and we were finished eating before we received our drinks. We eventually managed to speak to a manager about it. However, we have stayed before and ate in other restaurants and they were good. Upgrades to winter garden bar were nice but again service for drinks very slow. Overall a 6.5/10 stay.

This was our first visit and it definitely won’t be our last. Everything about our one night stay was perfect. The castle room was so comfortable, the spa was a delight and the Sandeman restaurant was a treat. The staff were beyond helpful and the surroundings were breathtaking. A very special stay in a special hotel.

Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, divided into upper and lower floors, with a large balcony where you can dine on the balcony table! It has its own parking space, which is convenient for parking. The lawn is very large, suitable for parents and children to hang out! The location is a bit remote, but the overall environment is very good👍

Nice hotel in a great location. With good sized and clean rooms. The bar meals in the evening can be busy and they weren't able to accomodate for one night. Also, breakfast starts quite late at 8 am, so can be very busy a hectic when it does begin. A 7 am breakfast start would ease that and be helpful for business travellers and walkers with an early start.
