I have stayed at this hotel more than once and have never yet been disappointed!
The rooms are clean and smelt of fresh linen as I entered the room!
The boys and girls were very efficient and when I requested softer pillows .....it was very quickly and efficiently dealt with!
As a solo female travel I felt safe at the hotel and plenty of parking directly in front of the premises helped alot!
Checking in and checking out were made simple as I had booked online.
Heartily recommend this place and I will be back!
I recently stayed at Cinta Sayang Resort and overall had a pleasant experience, but there are a few things worth noting. Upon arrival, there was no clear signage indicating where to check in, which made the first impression a bit confusing. It took some asking around before I found the reception area.
The room I stayed in looked quite old in terms of design and furniture, but it was well maintained and clean, which made it comfortable for my stay. The security guards around the premises were very helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with directions or information. Breakfast was a highlight — the food served was delicious, with a good variety to start the day right.
With some improvements to the signage for easier navigation, the resort could offer an even better guest experience.
The location is absolutely excellent, surrounded by various eateries, convenience stores, a pharmacy, a laundromat, and even a Maybank. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and very well-maintained. All the staff are incredibly friendly. The children's pool is safely designed even for toddlers as young as two. The adult pool is 4 feet deep, providing a safe and appropriate depth for Malaysian adults. If you ever feel bored, there's a gym available. The food options are consistently delicious too. Overall, it's truly superb! 👍
Complimentary Wi‑Fi, parking, and water — ideal for a practical overnight stay.
Good for travelers on a tight budget or for brief stays before entering Thailand or visiting UUM.
Hotel has a very good location close to the zahir mosque. Staff was very helpfull, helped us booking the ferry to langkawi, cause international visa card was not working with the local app. Breakfast was acceptable.
The facilities were very old, felt like 80s or 90s, especially the bathroom, we think the room rate was overpriced for the condition the hotel is in

We really enjoyed our stay at Resorts World Langkawi! The view of the marina and sea was beautiful, and the whole place felt peaceful and relaxing. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast had a nice variety of choices.
Just a small feedback — the door lock in our room wasn’t functioning properly, so it would be great if the hotel could look into that.
Overall, it was a lovely stay and we’d be happy to come back again! 🌴🌅

1. Location: Very convenient as it's located along the Cenang Walk and it has direct access to the Pantai Cenang, where a lot of water activities can be done.
2. Room & Amenities: I booked the Queen bedroom, very spacious. The bathroom is spacious and clean too. Had a clogged bathroom issue but was resolved almost immediately. The room includes towels, shampoo, body wash, safe, TV, kettle, selection of coffee and tea sachets, mini fridge, and a good size wardrobe. Ironing board is located at the hallway. Hairdryer is available but needs to request at the reception with limited usage time of 2-hours.
3. Service: The receptionists are okay, but there are times where none of them were at the counter and we had to wait for quite awhile to be attended.
Makanan semua sedap, senang parking, staff friendly, cuma perabot agak outdated version, and ada bunyi dari syiling tekanan air ke, dia kejap2 bunyi. Nice place for me to stay one night here.
The hotel is quite good and very clean. The service was excellent. It's very close to the city center, making it super convenient for exploring and dining out. The breakfast spread was also very generous. Excellent!

GGuest UserSome staff are arrogant, especially the beach bartender and the executive chef. Dining experience at their in-house restaurant was horrible for us with staff very slow, forgetful and the executive chef after made a mistake was arrogant and resent food with alot of chilly. You rather have your meals on the main langkawi island.
Other staff like reception and buggy drivers very friendly and accomodative.
CCurlygirl_travelsThis resort is big and beautiful, immersed in nature and their service is excellent.
( please forgive me if I have butchered the names or spelled them wrong)
Faraaz was welcoming and informative upon check in, I came in early to check in and he made sure to find me so that I can check in my room a little before 3 pm.
The surroundings are lovely, the resort hugs the mountains and is surrounded by lush green. There’s many activities that you can do within the resort, as well as the skybridge and oriental village a stone throw away ( you can get a one way shuttle courtesy of resort.
The room itself was old but the housekeeping staff does an excellent job because it was clean, there’s no sewer smells and the bed is cosy.
The only issue I have is that of the gaps which lets geckos in, a huge one made it’s home in the bathroom, thumbs up to front desk service which is open and the security came late at night to help find it but it had hidden. The next day I saw one come through the gap in the door, ( there is a brush at the bottom but doesn’t fit until the end) I clapped my hands wildly to chase it back out. Perhaps provide a door draft stopper, I just used the towels to fill in gaps as a makeshift one. However I know it is a resort surrounded by nature and these creatures will find a way.
Breakfast was excellent, I have to says the breakfast staff is the hardest working team I have ever seen in all my travels. Not only do they have to greet and seat, but they also accommodate late breakfast comers who come after the allotted breakfast time and wait until they finish a lazy breakfast.
The food here is delicious. It was a lovely stay.
Ps. Don’t forget to make a reservation in advance for Phan Thai, I recommend at 6:30, it’s not busy yet and you can take pics and enjoy the beautiful sky dimming into glorious colors. It starts to get really busy at around 7:40 ( it’s still bright out) .
AAnonymous UserI've read mixed reviews on the resort but surprisingly my experience staying in Camar was great. Upon arrival, we received complimentary welcome drinks. There were 3 types of drinks we could choose. The room was clean and in good condition. Surprisingly they provided complimentary pink salt for bath. The resort was calm and quiet. It wasn't a packed resort but there were other guests actually. Love the swimming pool, it was clean, long and the depth is manageable. The breakfast spread was basic but I think the taste was good. Overall, I don't have any negative points to the resort.
AAnonymous UserThe villa has one of the quiet and tranquil views of the sunset. It is suitable for couples to chill and relax. They are having a promotion for sunset steamboat and grill which is quite affordable as well. I love their spacious rooms and pool view. Just that the gym room is quite underwhelming and needs some maintenance. Other than that it is splendid.
AAshikinMustafaIt’s such a unique hotel! It’s exactly as what’s shown in the pictures. Super love the quirky decorations. My 2-yr old son were excited to see all the figurines and can’t get over the giant rabbit drinking the juice at the swimming pool. Having the beach at our doorstep was a huge bonus and the pool was also lovely. Staff was warm and friendly and the breakfast spread was so hearty and delicious. It’s definitely a hotel that we will go back to again and again!
AAnonymous UserGoldsands Hotel Langkawi offers spacious, clean rooms with modern bathrooms and large bathtubs, complemented by a stunning rooftop infinity pool and restaurant with panoramic views. Conveniently located near markets, Eagle Jetty, and shops, it provides a quieter stay away from busy beach areas. Guests praise the friendly staff and good value, though some have experienced slower service and occasional maintenance issues. Overall, it’s an excellent choice for travelers seeking comfort, good amenities, and a strategic location in Langkawi.
MMiaW98This was such a cute stay. My friend and I came for one night. The staff were wonderful. We arrived very early at 9am after a flight and luckily, we were able to check-in there and then.
The beds are really comfy & we had a small balcony view too.
Ammenities such as a kettle, fridge, tooth brush, toothpaste, shower cap, razors etc were provided.
In the evening, house keeping knock on your door and give you a ‘good night’ card with some chocolates.
They also noticed that it was my birthday and brought a small piece of cake for us to share.
Close to the beach & other shops/massage places etc!
Really lovely stay, thank you Arch! ❤️
GGuest UserWe spent 4 days in this hotel with my daughter.
It's a descent hotel for the money. The location is very good, on the first line by the sea.
There are two swimming pools, but they are rarely used.
The area is clean and green.
There are many broken umbrellas and sun loungers. This is not well maintained.
The rooms are old and worn out, and there are constant problems with keys and air conditioning.
But, again, for the money, it's a decent hotel.
Not all rooms have phones. They don't tell you how to contact the reception. You have to figure out that there's a WhatsApp number somewhere to contact the reception. They don't mention it during check-in.
The reception staff was very disappointing. You have to write and remind them several times before they start doing anything.
There was a very unpleasant moment: it was a child's birthday, we asked the reception if they could arrange a cake. They said no, but shared the contacts of the store where you can buy. We bought a cake, brought it to the hotel, asked to put it in the refrigerator, as it wax very hot outside. It was said several times that they need to put it in the refrigerator, otherwise the cake would start to melt. They agreed. After two hours we took the cake that had leaked, which no one put in the refrigerator. In addition, the reception staff forbade us to eat the cake in the hotel restaurant, and sent us to the hut on the beach without lighting, plates and forks. And this is taking into account the fact that we were going to have dinner in the restaurant anyway. Disgusting service, isn't it?
Thanks a lot to the restaurant staff, who still agreed to accommodate us, helped us, and even played the song Happy Birthday.
The restaurant staff were wonderful, welcoming, very attentive both at breakfast and dinner, and helpful with other issues that were not even related to their job. This is the only service in the hotel that deserves a five-star rating. Many thanks to them
