The hotel's breakfast was very good, the best in the four Eastern European countries in recent days. The location is not far from the old town. In fact, we only walked there for about 20 minutes. The whole city feels a bit depressed
This is a typical 1970s hotel. It probably started out as a dormitory, given its proximity to an oil refinery. The service is modest, and the room is small, like a 'Khrushchevka' (a small, mass-produced apartment), but it's clean. The main downside is the incredibly loud slamming of the room doors. It seems to be a design flaw; even with door closers installed, the doors bang against the frame with a loud thud that's amplified by the echo of the long corridor.
Otherwise, the breakfast is quite decent, as long as you avoid the rush (most people go to eat around 8:30 AM, which leads to overcrowding, no available seats, and food not being refilled quickly enough). For my taste, the only thing missing was milk. And while the hotel is a bit out of the way, there's a bus stop about 100 meters away with buses to the city center every 15 minutes.
We didn't use the hotel's parking. There's free street parking available just around the corner.

Upon checking in on the first day, we later approached the front desk to add breakfast for the second day. The female staff member with a ponytail and no glasses told us we could settle the bill for breakfast upon check-out.
However, when we went for breakfast on the second day, our reservation wasn't found at the restaurant, and we were sent back to the front desk to reconfirm. We went back to the front desk to clarify the situation, but two other female staff members seemed completely unaware of what had happened. Eventually, the original staff member we spoke to appeared. To our utter disbelief, she then retracted her statement, insisting we needed to arrange it directly with the restaurant ourselves? This was utterly baffling and clearly an internal communication failure 🤬🤬🤬. I demand you review the surveillance footage to verify what you actually said!
This incident truly ruined our morning and left us feeling incredibly upset. Especially considering this is a reputable international chain, a star-rated hotel, I'm truly at a loss for words. For such a simple matter, adding a note should not be difficult. This is purely due to poor internal communication and unclear staff handover😡. I'm speechless; this is absolutely outrageous! They should have just charged us on the spot to avoid any disputes. Instead, this entire debacle left us with no proof, turning it into a ”Rashomon” situation of conflicting verbal accounts.
On the bright side, the location is quite good, and the public spaces are tastefully designed. Overall, the hotel appeared reasonably clean and tidy.
Now, regarding the in-room facilities: there was actually quite a bit of dust in the room. On surfaces like the TV cabinet and capsule coffee machine, dust particles were clearly visible floating in the light, which triggered our allergies, causing us to sneeze repeatedly. In room 520, the bathroom constantly emitted peculiar noises, making us wonder if it was some kind of machinery running. Furthermore, this is the first time I've encountered unstable hot water pressure in the shower (it would often turn lukewarm) at a supposedly 'better' chain hotel. To top it all off, the washing machine was also broken, and we were informed it wouldn't be fixed and usable until next week. I'm utterly astonished by this level of inefficiency... 😵💫😵💫😵💫
Location fab
Thats where any good ends.
Breakfast can only be described as chaos. No tables etc so had to make do with a takeaway coffee and just a croissant in the reception area.
Pool area far too busy.
On NYD everything closed at 8pm, no bar open and staff made it clear they wanted you gone.
Wine in vespaio bar served warm.
Disturbed throughout night by other guests in early hours coming and going.
The hotel is convenient for travel and is close to Andre Street and many food stores. It is recommended as the best choice for travel and stay. The room feels very good. This is the second time I choose to stay here.
Fabulous hotel, perfectly situated for the airport, rooms and bathroom are big, clean and have everything you need.
Staff are helpful and polite.
Breakfast was amazing.
Hygienic: OK, very clean.
Facilities: There is no elevator, you need to carry your luggage upstairs.
The service didn't feel much, except for the communication with the front desk at check-in and check-out, there was nothing else to communicate with the staff.
Because I was on the way, I didn't eat breakfast, I don't know what it was...
I didn't know it was a Starwood hotel when I booked, so the quality was still guaranteed! The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was very rich and very satisfied! The only downside is that it is a bit far from the old town, but it is good to walk along the Danube for more than 10 minutes!
The hotel was quite nice, the location was good and it is close to the shopping mall and other amenities. The breakfast buffet is very small, and there are not a lot of options available. The room we stayed in was a bit dirty and the floors were quite dusty. F
The hotel has a certain history and the location is OK.
There is a smell in the house, and it is better after opening the doors and windows.

CcunguBig-name hotels should have it, clean and tidy, satisfied
Special praise for the warm and thoughtful service of the front desk lady. I don't have a local taxi APP. Miss sister used her mobile phone to help me call a taxi. Thank you very much.
And saved my luggage.

GGuest UserGreat service, even the fallen snow was removed from our car and the road to it.
Free access to the welness & fitnes was also very welcome after a long yourney in bad weather.
Because we had a limited time for diner also that was very fine solved.
The breakfast was also a pleasure to make use of!
In one word the sre great!
