A little dated with a strange layout.
A/C couldn’t get lower than 74 despite being set to 65.
Was pretty much empty, so noise wasn’t an issue, but light from the hallways was.
Appears that several rooms are being used for long-term stays / apartments?
Ok for an inexpensive place to crash near the airport.
Facilities: This is a serious deduction. The sound of the air conditioner fan can be heard continuously in the room. For light sleepers, it is a bad review.
But the good thing is that their shuttle bus runs frequently, a total of three, and basically no need to wait.
Environment: The swimming pool downstairs is open until 9 o'clock. The children downstairs have a lot of fun, but for those who just want to have a good rest, they have to wait until after 9 o'clock. The corridor design of this hotel is very good, but if you encounter this situation, it will be very bad.
Service: Breakfast is also average. There are not many varieties, and the bread is hard. Hahahaha, I thought it was a baguette
This is the second time I stayed at this hotel during this business trip, because I had a direct flight from Detroit to Shanghai. The hotel environment is very good, the facilities are also good, the front desk is very nice, and they can provide free bottled water, but it is very expensive.
The hotel was good and the staff/concierge very nice, but the airport shuttle was disappointing. The driver was careless with luggage, rude when asked about terminal information, and muttered curses at passengers. Most concerning, he drove erratically, hitting 53 mph in a 25 mph construction zone during rain at 3:30 AM on 10/14
The bed is more comfortable, the front desk can adjust the location of the room according to your needs, but the toiletries are a small bottle of disposable, do not mention the room cleaning needs are not cleaned during the period, breakfast buffet, slightly simpler
The room is as clean and tidy as ever, the TV program is quite rich, very suitable for business travelers, the hotel has breakfast, free parking in the parking lot, the front desk staff is very good, free room change
The hotel is a bit old and the facilities inside are relatively old. I saw many families going out on weekends. Sleeping at night is a bit noisy and there are often children running. Overall
Overall pretty good. The biggest advantage is that it is close to the airport, and the hotel has a shuttle bus. You only need to tell the front desk what time to leave, and then get down early and wait for the bus to the hotel. Everything is very convenient.
The service was very acomadating, comfortable, enjoyable and breakfast was very good! The coffee is on 24/7! That’s huge! Thank you
Very Good

Great
GGuest UserThis year we celebrated our 41st wedding anniversary, but didn’t want to spend a fortune on a cute little hotel in a city close by , where we could unwind and we could also do a bit of after Christmas shopping . We found this cute cozy little city called Traverse City in Michigan. It was a short ride ( 3 hours) and arrived at this hotel situated on the beautiful Little traverse Bay . I can only imagine how nice this city is in the summer , I hear it’s called the Cherry Capital of Michigan . The hotel was as perfect as the city. And It had all the amenities that we needed for our perfect little get away . The room was just the right size for the 2 of us. With a comfy king bed and a queen bed , with crisp clean sheets with equally nice employees to round out our stay. We were told about a nice restaurant where we could enjoy a great steak with great ambiance . BOONES Long Lake Inn . ,after which we retired to our room back at the hotel . Sadly we weren’t able to enjoy the hot tub or pool as we were just too tired from enjoying the day and evening out. We did enjoy the free breakfast that was delivered to our door. All in a I have to give it a 5 star experience.hoping to return again soon .
BBito81Review: Travelodge at Lansing, Michigan
Stay Dates: September 22-23, 2024
Room Type: Queen Bed
Overall Impression: My stay at the Travelodge in Lansing was generally positive. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient for my needs.
Positive Aspects:
* Friendly Staff: The hotel staff was courteous and accommodating, making me feel welcome.
* Good Location: The hotel's location was convenient for exploring Lansing and accessing nearby attractions.
Negative Aspects:
* While I didn't encounter any major issues, I might have appreciated better room service .
Overall, I would recommend the Travelodge in Lansing for travelers seeking a comfortable and affordable stay. The hotel's friendly staff and convenient location make it a good choice for both leisure and business travelers.
GGuest UserThere were 3 police cars in front when we pulled up. The desk clerk could barely speak English. The carpet on the staircase was grossly dirty. One key wouldn’t work and we gave up after 2 trips to the front desk. The bathroom sink was cracked. The bathtub was so nasty that we showered at the relatives we were visiting. A tattered list of stations was the only “TV guide.” Internet was so slow I gave up using it after 6 “timed out” messages. Chipped up doors, dirty corners and along walls. Lamp shades broken, mismatched lightbulbs, fighting in parking lot...
Most disgusting place we’ve stayed in the past decade!
JJanetThis place was old but the rooms have been upgraded. Our room was mostly clean with just some corners missed. The updates were basic but nice. We do appreciate the hard floor in place of carpeting. The bed was very comfortable. We especially appreciated the desk, microwave and refrigerator and the many outlets around the room. There was one weird piece of that though. None of the desk power worked unless the overhead light was on. My husband does desk work before i get up and this added many hurdles for him.
The staff was very friendly. We had some extra time so stopped to see if we could check in early but they apologized that they couldn't accommodate us because the rooms were not ready. I would much rather wait than have a room that cleaning was rushed to get us in.
This hotel enforces a quiet time which again is wonderful for us.. We play music for a living and we fully appreciate a discounted but quiet room stay.
The drive to the hotel is a little difficult to follow the first time because the road comes in the back way. It feels a little unsafe BUT we had no issues at all. We will be back.
GGuest UserThe location is terrific ! Right on the water. We booked a king room, it was so tiny there was not even a place to put the luggage, and the cigarette smoke residue and chemicals used to cover it up were overwhelming ! The front desk kindly gave us an upgrade to a penthouse suite at no additional charge. The suite worked out well. The hotel is older and vintage, the rooms reflect that but are in desperate need of a facelift,,,seam split wall paper, dingy corners, cheap carpet and very chintzy cabinetry circa 90s builder grade oak that is worn, scratched and mismatched to the old fashioned cherry dressers. The suite had an apartment sized refrigerator, microwave and kitchenette sink, all mismatched, white fridge, black microwave, stainless sink. Not a bit of kitchen gear supplied,,,no sponge, no towel, not even a paper towel. The TVs were tiny as well !
The bar however was lovely, excellent cocktails and nibbles. The grounds and harbor view were grand, easy and ample parking and the staff attentive. Its a good hotel,,,just really worn out !!
KKenzieLee5I booked this hotel solely on the fact that the pool had a slide that my two kids would enjoy and a hot tub that us parents could relax in. I was disappointed that the water level in both amenities was very low and the pool water was extremely cold. Like uncomfortable cold and too cold to actually enjoy swimming in. The hot tub jets also did not work and never did turn on while we were there it was definitely not 104+ degrees as the sign claims. It was basically like warm bath water. The door to the women's restroom in the pool area is also rusted and falling apart in the corner so it rubs across the concrete when you open and close it and makes it hard to open and shut it. The rooms and breakfast were both average. I'd check out another hotel in the area knowing what I know now about the pool area I wouldn't stay again in hopes that I'd find an actual hot tub that's actually hot with working jets and maybe a heated pool elsewhere. A fine place if you're not here to enjoy this things as it's a clean place to rest your head.
