Love the funky decor and our corner booth was perfect for catching up with friends. The chicken burger was juicy and fresh!

Been coming here for years. The Vietnamese fried chicken is always spot on, keeps me coming back.

The seats are really comfy, which makes a big difference for a relaxed meal. Nice spot in the centre.

The smashed patty burger was spot on, cheese melted just right. Vegan burger and tenders were a nice surprise too.

The beef was cooked exactly as requested. Good selection of vegetables with the Sunday roast.

Been coming here for years. Their wine list is always solid, and the vibe is just right for a quiet night out. It's the one place I know I can count on for that.

Been coming here for years. The terrace is still my favourite spot to unwind with a pint, looking out over the rooftops.

The staff were really on it. Quick to refill water, knew the menu well enough to answer questions without checking, and cleared plates at the right time. Made the ordering process smooth.

Been coming here for years. The music's always spot on, never too loud. It's the one thing I can count on. Might try their open mic night next week.

Been going here for years. The Sunday roast is always spot on, good portion of beef and all the trimmings. Just a solid, reliable meal for the weekend.

Love the vibe here, especially on a Sunday evening. The live jazz is just the right volume for a chat. The decor feels genuinely unique, not like a chain. A bit pricey for a pint, but you're paying for the setting.

2-for-£11 deal, perfect for a quick pint. Drinks are strong, got a bit tipsy fast. Sat outside, music was good, not too loud. Staff were friendly. Solid spot.

Been meaning to try their Sunday roast for ages. The pork belly was spot on, really tender. Portions are generous, couldn't finish it all. Service was quick and efficient.

As a meat lover, I was genuinely impressed by their veggie options. The beetroot burger had a nice earthy flavour, and the halloumi one was perfectly salty. Paired it with a local craft lager that cut through the richness nicely. A solid choice even for us carnivores.

Grabbed a quick burger before a show in The Lanes. Solid choice for speed. The patty was juicy and the bun held up well. Got my order in under 10 minutes, which was perfect. Prices are fair for the area. Would stop by again when I'm in a rush.

Stopped by for lunch. The bread was fresh and the steak tasted like it came from a local farm. You can really tell they use good ingredients.

The fish was so fresh and flaky, a real highlight. The batter was light and crispy, not heavy at all. I really appreciated the chunky, hand-cut chips too. A proper seaside classic done right.

Cosy spot, friendly team. The real star was the local ale selection - had a pint that paired beautifully with the steak pie. Made for a proper, relaxed evening.

A proper local pub, and you feel it. Popped in for a pint after a long day. The landlord recommended a local ale that paired surprisingly well with their steak pie. Just the right kind of warmth from the regulars, too. A bit of a squeeze at the bar, but that’s part of the charm.

So nice that they're dog friendly! The staff brought my pup her own little roast dinner 🍖. My veggie roast was really tasty too. Perfect spot for a casual catch-up with friends who have four-legged pals.

Proper Irish pub, and the Guinness is spot on. Just the right creamy head, poured perfectly. Staff are friendly without being over the top. Great place for a quiet pint after work.

Popped in for a pint to escape the rain. The bar staff were so lovely and chatty, really made the place feel welcoming. It's a gorgeous little spot, perfect for catching up with a friend over a drink.

The satay mushrooms were a real standout - perfectly grilled and that peanut sauce was spot on. A nice surprise in a pub setting.

Really liked the relaxed vibe here. The lighting was soft, and the wooden tables gave it a warm feel. The manager was super attentive, which was nice. Food was great, too.

The Sunday roast is a solid choice. Had the free-range chicken, generous portions, and the veg were spot on. A proper pub meal. My only note is the wine list felt a bit limited for the price point, but the ale selection was decent.

Love that they let you bring in food from the takeaway next door. The staff were really nice about it, made it so easy.

Popped in for lunch, the set menu is £13.50. Had the Pad Kra Prao, really hit the spot - just like I remember from Bangkok. Service was chill, no rush at all.

Lovely old pub, proper fireplace. So nice to be able to hear your friends talk. The steak and ale pie was spot on, really good pastry. Prices are a bit steep, but the quality is there.

Proper rocker's pub with a great blues and rock soundtrack. The crowd's always friendly, feels like a real Brighton spot.

The pulled beef tacos were really fresh. The ingredients tasted high quality and the spice level was just right for me.
