Despite some mixed reviews, the restaurant has potential with its great location and friendly staff; a few improvements could make it a standout.

Great spot for a quick Sunday roast. The beef was tender, veggies were spot on. Service was quick, got my plate in under 10 minutes. Perfect for when you're hungry and don't want to wait around.

Took a friend here last Thursday. Zack was so welcoming. I really appreciated how fresh the ingredients in my Old Fashioned tasted. Had to order a second one! The menu has a huge selection, which is great for someone like me who likes to explore healthy options.

Despite the busy atmosphere, the staff at Toby Carvery managed everything efficiently. Our waiter Kai was friendly and provided great service, making our visit enjoyable.

With friends we always end our trip to the Cinema with a meal at Toby’s. There’s no other way of finishing off a great time at the pictures than with a fab roast from Tobys

Jess provided fabulous service, and the classic pub food was delightful. The views from the restaurant added to the overall experience.

Every visit to The Arkle Manor is a delight, thanks to the friendly and attentive staff like Jenna. The ambiance is charming, and the food never disappoints.

Always very friendly staff, nothing ever too much bother. We always bring the dog and they always have treats in a cup on the table and a bowl of water ready for him.

The mussels were the star for me. Really fresh, and the broth was so flavourful and hearty. It felt like a proper seafood feast. The service was friendly and attentive, which made the whole meal very relaxed and enjoyable.

Love the local Harvey's ales here! The staff really know their stuff and helped me pick one. Perfect for a chilled catch-up with friends over a pint. 🍻

Grabbed a quick bite here. The nachos were solid, exactly what you want for a casual lunch. Food came out fast, which is key for me. Decent spot for a no-fuss meal.

Been coming here for years. Sid’s always behind the bar, same friendly chat. That’s what keeps me coming back—just a reliable, good spot.

Venkat's service was spot on. The fish and chips were proper good, crispy batter and the chips were just right. Been coming here for years and it's always reliable.

Service was spot on. They handled our group's dietary needs without any fuss, really attentive. Makes a difference when you're out for a meal.

Loved the little garden out back. It’s a proper little sun trap, just right for a pint when it’s not raining. Felt like a nice escape from the street for a bit.

Nice relaxed pub. The pizza was pretty good - decent flavour, and the two size options worked well for sharing. Staff were friendly. A solid spot for a casual meal.

Love this place. It's a proper local, always has a good vibe. The drinks on tap are spot on. A bit loud on a Saturday night, but that's part of the charm.

The roast was generous, and I really appreciated the fresh, crisp vegetables. The cauliflower cheese was a nice touch, but the Yorkshire pudding could have been a bit lighter. A good, hearty meal after a long walk.

The lunch deal is a good option. I had the grilled salmon with a side salad. The salmon was cooked just right, and the greens in the salad were really fresh. A solid choice for a healthy midday meal.

Came here with friends on a packed Saturday night. The chicken and chorizo dish was so good for this time of year. Staff were really on it despite the crowd, which made it easy for us to just relax and chat.

The fish and chips were lovely, the batter was so light and crispy. But the real star was the sticky toffee pudding for dessert. You could tell it was made with really fresh, quality ingredients. A nice, simple finish to the meal.

Meat Free Mondays is a solid deal. Got the vegan fish and chips, plus the smoked tofu salad. Everything came out fast, which is key for a quick lunch. The 'fish' was surprisingly good. Decent portion too.

Lovely spot. We had a big surprise party here and the staff were brilliant - really discreet about the whole thing. Everyone's food came out just right, which is tricky with a large group. A really smooth evening.
