It was a relaxed, fun evening, made special by engaging staff. Even though they were understaffed, they made the best of the situation and provided excellent customer service.

Been coming for years, and the raspberry mojito is always spot on. That's why I keep coming back.

Came for a riverside breakfast and the view of the shopping street was lovely. The eggs were perfectly runny and the coffee was strong. A bit of a wait for a table, but worth it for the morning light.

Been coming here for years. The festive roast is always spot on, and that apple crumble... just hits the same every time. That consistency is what keeps me coming back.

Lovely little garden out back. Grabbed a pint after a walk, sat there for ages. Staff were sound, didn't hurry us along even though it was getting late.

A handy spot for a pre-theatre dinner. It was pretty busy but had a decent atmosphere. The pasta I had was fine, though the portion felt a bit small. Would return.

Always a treat to come back. Those chips are honestly the best—crispy outside, fluffy inside. Just a note, they switch to the daily menu in summer, so no Sunday roast then.

Been coming here for years, and the real ales are always spot on. Properly kept, never a bad pint. That’s why I keep coming back. The rest is good, but it’s the ale that’s reliable.

Solid pub food. The fish and chips were pretty good, and the homemade fish cakes were a nice touch. We enjoyed everything we ordered. It’s a decent spot for a casual meal.

Ollie sorted out some flowers for us last minute, which was a nice touch. Food was really good, service spot on. Just a chilled evening out.

Debbie was a star with our group. She knew her wine list, suggested a crisp white that went perfectly with our starters. Made the whole evening flow smoothly. A real pro.

Booked for a big group. Staff handled it all smoothly from start to finish. Food came out quick, no stress. Made the evening easy.

Grabbed the beef roast for a quick Sunday lunch. Came out fast, which was perfect. The meat was really tender. Staff were nice and efficient. Good spot for a proper meal when you're short on time.

The curtained-off area was perfect for our small wedding. The buffet had some really nice options, and the staff were so helpful with everything.

Sunday roast was decent. The beef was tender, good gravy. But for £28, the portion felt a bit on the small side. Expected more veg and a bigger Yorkshire pud for the price.

The outdoor seating area is really pleasant on a summer evening. They stay open late on weekends, which is a plus. Good selection of real ales and ciders to enjoy out there.

The chef's special noodle soup was so fresh and full of flavour. The pork was tender and the broth had a lovely depth to it.

The outdoor seating area is charming, and the inside is very comfortable. Prices are reasonable for the location, right next to Hove Station.

Loved the cosy vibe here. The stone walls and open fire gave it such a warm, old-school pub feel. Perfect for a chilly evening.

A nice spot for a break. The Fuller's and guest beers are good, but I'd love to see more low-alcohol or alcohol-free options on the menu.

Sat outside on a sunny afternoon, perfect for people-watching. The beer selection is the real draw here – tried a local pale ale that paired nicely with the fish and chips. A solid choice for a casual pint.

Just stopped by for a quick bite. The chef's passion really comes through in the flavours. Everything was spot on, from how it looked to how it smelled. Simple but impressive.

Cosy spot with a real fire, and the local beer selection is good. The seats were comfortable for a long, relaxed visit.

The ordering app is a nice touch, makes things so easy. Just tap a few times and your food's on the way. Got a little discount through it last time too.

Came here for a birthday brunch with the girls. The space is huge, so we didn't feel packed in at all. Ended up in the karaoke booth after our mimosas – such a fun idea for a group!

Lovely old pub, very clean and relaxed. The front and back outdoor spaces are great for a pint. The barman with the beard knew his stuff, suggested a really nice local ale that went perfectly with my ploughman's lunch. Just what I needed.

A proper British pub. The real ales are well-kept, which I appreciate. I was really pleased to see a few lighter, lower-ABV options on the board – it’s nice to have a choice that fits with a mindful approach. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, just what you’d hope for.

I had a fantastic meal with my friends, and the staff were incredibly attentive. The skewers I ordered were cooked to perfection!

The portions are generous, so sharing a few dishes is a good idea. The bill came out very reasonable.

A nice pub in central Hove. Came in for a quiet lunch and found it very comfortable. The booths are spacious and the staff are friendly without being overbearing. The fish and chips were just right for a midday meal. It’s a good spot if you want a relaxed bite.
