We wanted to sit outside but it started raining—staff just had a table ready inside for us before we even asked. That was pretty nice. I had the schnitzel, it was solid. Place had a good vibe too.

Friendly staff, quick service even when packed. The spinach and gorgonzola pizza with chili oil was solid. Good spot if you're nearby and don't want to overthink it.

The waitress knew her stuff—pointed us to a lighter beer that paired well with the salad. Friendly without hovering. I appreciated that she didn't push the heavy dishes. Just wish they had a few more greens on the menu, but the freshness of what we got made up for it.

The pastries are the real deal here. That mojito one was surprisingly good, vegan croissant too. Everything tasted fresh.

Cakes and coffee are solid, staff’s friendly too. Only thing—street noise gets a bit much if you’re by the wall. Still a decent spot to sit for a while.

The vegan Moving Mountain burger was properly good — lots of flavour, didn't feel like I was missing out on anything. Nice beer list as well. Place was chill on a weekday evening.

Came in with low expectations after reading some mixed reviews, but honestly the food held up well. We ordered a few things to share and the flavors were solid across the board. The wine list is decent too, nothing fancy but pairs fine with the meal. Service was a bit slow at times, but I'd still come back.

Great pizza and the view is lovely. Prices are fair for what you get. We showed up late for our booking and they still seated us quickly.

Nice spot, solid food. The wine pairing was actually well done. Service from Mr. Stoss and his crew was friendly, no complaints. I'd come back if I'm in the area.

Lovely peppermint tea with real fresh leaves, and the blankets outside were a nice touch. Pricey, but you pay for the square view.

The beef tartare with truffles was the highlight—so well balanced, rich without being heavy. The truffle tagliolini was good too, maybe a touch oily by the end. Place felt a bit rushed though, we weren't even done and they were already clearing plates. Still, that tartare is sticking with me.

The Al Capone pizza was pretty good—really flavorful, decent crust. The mafia theme gives the place some character, though it’s a bit gimmicky. Prices are on the higher side, but for a one-off it’s fine. I’d probably come back if I’m in the area again.

Went for the brunch buffet last Sunday. Food was solid, plenty of options, though nothing blew me away. Julia from the staff remembered it was my wife's birthday and brought out a small cake with a song. That was a nice touch, not gonna lie. Hot food stays out till 10 pm which is handy. Place was a bit noisy but fine.

Found a vegan brownie and oat milk cappuccino here — nice surprise for the area. Brownie was good, coffee did the job.

Stopped by for a chai latte and honestly it’s one of the best I’ve had in a while. Place had that local vibe, regulars just chatting around. Felt pretty welcoming. Not a fancy spot, but it doesn’t need to be. Just solid and warm.

Decent spot. Food was pretty good and the staff were friendly. Lots of menu options too. Took cards which was handy.

The cordon bleu was crispy and cheesy, came on a hot stone. Fries were good, but the price felt a bit steep for the portion.

Stopped by this place while in Wangen and honestly, the backyard garden got me. Such a calm spot to sit and eat. Had a solid meal, nothing fancy, but the historic building around you makes it feel different. Staff were nice too. Maybe a bit busy when I went, but fine.

The conservatory area is really nice, lots of natural light and space. Our daughter had fun with the toys while we waited for the cheese spaetzle. Food was solid, nothing fancy but good.

Came with a bunch of friends and the service handled us pretty well. Food was decent but portions were kinda uneven. Also heads up, tap water costs more than beer here 😅

Stopped by for dinner and ended up lingering over a glass of their house red. The wine list is small but thoughtfully picked, which I always appreciate. Had the schnitzel—solid, nothing fancy. The homemade cake with coffee afterward was the real highlight. Place has that lived-in, family-run feel. Service a bit slow, but we weren't in a rush.

Service was friendly from the moment I walked in. I liked that the menu had a good range, even some proper vegetarian stuff which is not always easy to find. My dish was well-prepared, nothing fancy but satisfying. Sat near the window, felt comfortable and not rushed. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Kaiserschmarren was solid. Big portion, easily enough for two. Strudel came with raisins though, not a fan of that. Coffee was fine. Place felt a bit touristy but whatever. If you want a proper Austrian dessert fix, it does the job.

Came here for the dry-aged T-bone. Cooked right, decent flavor, no complaints. Outdoor seating's the real draw when it's warm out. Place gets busy, so don't expect a quiet meal. Fine for what it is.

Stopped here after a hike, grabbed the sausage with rösti and onion gravy. The sausage was fresh, not too greasy. Rösti was crispy on the edges, soft inside. Onion gravy had a nice depth, not too salty. Convenient spot if you're walking to the castle. Just wish the portion was a bit bigger for the price.

The chicken with couscous citrus salad is still my go-to here. Light and fruity, not something you find everywhere. Keeps me coming back.

The asparagus soup was the highlight — rich but not heavy. Salmon with lemon sauce came out fast and cooked right. Service kept up without hovering. Solid lunch spot.

Spacious place with a big sun terrace. Self-service worked fine, food was decent and well-prepared. Kids' playground is a nice bonus.

Lovely little café, the coffee was really good and the staff were friendly. I especially liked the seating – old sewing machine tables and cinema seats, such a nice touch. It’s a bit small, so you might not get a spot right away, but worth it for a quiet break. I’d go back.

The tom kha soup was solid, creamy and just the right amount of spicy. Wish they had more veggie options though, felt a bit limited.
