The strudel was decent, and the staff were friendly enough. Coffee came out a bit too hot for my taste, but that's a minor thing. The courtyard is a nice spot to sit in when the weather cooperates. Solid choice for a quiet afternoon in Wangen.

Stopped by for a late breakfast and grabbed the white sausages with pretzel and tomato soup. Really hit the spot, especially the soup. Sat outside, which was nice since the weather was good. Service was fine, nothing crazy. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Nicole took care of us and honestly she made the whole night. Left with a smile, would totally come back for her 😊

Stopped in for a drink and ended up staying longer than planned. They bring out nuts and pretzels with your order, which is a nice touch. Old-school vibe inside, nothing fancy but comfortable. Bathrooms were surprisingly clean, too. My martini was solid, though I wish they'd offered a better olive selection. Fine spot if you're in the area and just want a relaxed drink.

The buffet here is solid for vegetarians — plenty of hot dishes that were actually fresh, not sitting around. They even had Jain options, which you don't see often in this area. Place itself is a bit cramped though, tables close together. Fine if you're not in a rush.

The Filou bread straight from the oven was the highlight—warm, crusty, perfect with my oat milk cappuccino. Good vegan options too. Coffee was solid, though I wish they had a natural wine option to pair with that bread.

The view from up there is something else — you can see all the way across Lake Constance into Switzerland and Vorarlberg. Food was decent, nothing crazy, but the owner was friendly and it made the whole stop feel easy. Sat a bit longer than planned just taking it in.

Decent breakfast spread, nicely presented. Staff were friendly without hovering. Solid spot for a relaxed morning meal.

Lovely spot by the lake, the lemon meringue pie was really good. Coffee hit the spot too. Just wish the toilets weren't so busy, but otherwise a nice place to sit and relax.

The pistachio and dark chocolate are the ones to get. You can tell the ice cream is made in-house, natural colors, real fruit taste, not that sugary mess you find in most places. I had a scoop of each and honestly, a glass of dry riesling would've paired nicely with the pistachio. Place was a bit busy but worth it.

Celebrated our anniversary here again — the wine list is always on point. Food was solid, service friendly. Maybe a bit pricey for what you get, but we left happy. 🍷

We had dinner here last week. I’m still thinking about that fish soup—so light, the seafood really came through. The vegan starter with soft beans and soya cream was interesting too, creamy but not heavy. Service was nice, nothing to complain about. Just wish the portions were a bit bigger for the price.

The XXL pretzel was basically a meal on its own, and the cheese soup had a nice rich flavor. The place has a modern feel but keeps that traditional touch. Just wish the seating was a bit more comfortable.

Cakes were solid and the place has a nice vibe. Prices are a bit steep for what you get though. Good spot if you just want a quick coffee and something sweet.

Great coffee and cake spot! The terrace is super nice when the weather cooperates. Just wish I'd known about the cash-only thing before I ordered 😅

Great spot right on the lake, view is lovely. Kaiserschmarrn was the highlight, fluffy and not too sweet. Fish was okay but lots of bones. Service pretty attentive though.

Stopped by for breakfast—portion sizes were solid, staff friendly enough. Toilets clean, which honestly makes a difference. Had the eggs and toast, nothing fancy but done right. Coffee was decent, not too strong. Place gets busy around 9, so grab a seat early if you can. Fine for a casual morning bite.

Great food, service ans ambiance made us happywe would recommend it, although we think that the menu-priceis very expensive, may be too expensive

The apple strudel here is honestly the best I’ve had in a long time. Crust is flaky, filling’s not too sweet. Price is a bit above what you’d usually pay, but you can tell they don’t cut corners. Service was fine, nothing fancy. I’d come back just for that strudel, though.

Reasonable prices and solid homemade food. The quiche was good, vegan options are a nice touch. Staff friendly. Quick enough for a lunch break.

Came here on a rainy Tuesday and still sat outside—they hand out blankets and even did a little welcome shot. That was a nice touch. Food was okay, nothing crazy, but the terrace made it worth it. Service kept things moving even though the place was packed. I'd come back for drinks and the vibe, not necessarily for the food.

Menu's pretty short, but honestly that's fine. Got the pasta and it was solid, no complaints. Place felt a bit cramped though, not much room between tables.

Came for the burgers and they didn’t disappoint. Juicy, well-made, exactly what I needed. Staff was nice, though the German menu took a sec to figure out. 😅

The cakes here are decent and the coffee does the job. Place is clean, nothing fancy but comfortable enough to sit for a while. I had the chocolate slice, pretty good. Service was fine, though it took a bit to get the bill. Wouldn't go out of my way, but it's a solid stop if you're nearby.
