The matcha soft serve here is the real deal. So rich and intense, just like the kind I had in Kyoto. My friends and I shared one after dinner and it was the perfect way to end our hangout.

Came here with a few friends and grabbed a table on the second floor. It was lively but not too loud, perfect for catching up. The vibe is really chill. We ordered the grilled chicken skewers and they were just okay, a bit dry maybe. Still, a fun spot for a casual hangout.

Great spot for a daytime pint. The view over the city is really something, especially when the sun's out. Just what you need to relax after walking around all day.

Walked in and got a seat, no problem. The ramen broth was the main thing. Rich, porky tonkotsu flavor, not too salty. Noodles had a good firmness. The chashu was tender but maybe a bit lean for my taste. That's what I remember.

The bartender suggested a cocktail with a hint of lavender. It was so good, I ordered another. Really nice touch.

Waited in the snow for this little spot. The okonomiyaki was so good, and watching it get made right in front of you is half the fun.

Been coming here for years. The semi-buffet is still solid, though I do wish the selection was a bit bigger.

Just had the grilled fish here after a day on the slopes. It was so fresh and flaky, super easy to share with friends. The yuzu beer was the perfect cold drink to cap it off. Great spot to unwind together.

Had to wait a bit for a table, but they have a waitlist system. The coffee was good, and I really enjoyed the dessert. The fruit on the cake tasted so fresh.

Tried the fried rice with my ramen for the first time. It has this really distinct, smoky aroma that somehow works with the broth. A solid combo for a solo dinner.

Stumbled upon this spot. The plum wine was just the right amount of sweet, went great with the food. For the price, the portion of the main dish felt a bit small though. Still, a nice find.

The blueberry yogurt shaved ice was just right, not too sweet. I really liked the space—lots of natural light and the wooden tables felt warm. A nice spot to just relax for a bit.

Been coming here for years, and the curry rice is still the main reason. It's got that same deep, rich flavor every time. The place gets packed, so I always try to grab an early table.

The sake tasting set was a total hit with my friends! We loved trying the local brews, especially the Shinshu Kirei. Perfect for a casual catch-up. The staff was really helpful in explaining them too. 🍶

Been coming here for years, and the parking is always a relief. Sure, it gets packed on busy nights, but I've never had to circle the block. Just a quick turn off the main road and you're there.

A nice little spot. The owner grows some of her own ingredients, which was a nice touch. The food was fresh and pretty good.

Only set menu on weekends, but the soba was the highlight. Perfect for a long, chatty dinner with friends.

The tomato beef tripe was the thing. The tomato sauce had a deep, slow-cooked flavor, and the tripe was tender without being mushy. It's a unique take on Italian-Japanese fusion. The rest of the menu looked good, but that one dish was the reason to come back.

Found this place by chance. The food was tasty, but I was a bit surprised by the portion sizes for the price. My main dish looked smaller than expected. The handmade plates were nice, though.

Tried their Western course menu for the first time. The presentation was so pretty, like little edible art pieces. My favorite was the seared scallop starter.

The restaurant is in a very convenient location, close to hotels and ski fields. It's the perfect place to enjoy a warm and satisfying sukiyaki meal after a day of skiing.

The steak was spot on, and their wine list had a nice pairing suggestion for the lamb.

The apple soft serve with apple sauce was so refreshing! The sweet and tart flavors balanced perfectly. It was the perfect light treat to share with friends after a big meal.

Came here for an early season lunch. The margaritas are definitely strong, and the quesadillas were good and cheesy. Just what you need after being on the slopes all morning.

Cozy spot in Hakuba. The homemade bread at breakfast was really nice, and the staff were super helpful.

Been coming here for years. The ski rack right outside is such a thoughtful touch. After a long day on the slopes, you just pop off your skis and walk in. It's a small thing, but it's always there. Makes the whole transition so much smoother.

The fried rice is a solid choice. Good portion, plenty of ingredients mixed in well. More substantial than the usual side you get at ramen places. Quick service too.
