Came here for the first time and the lamb dumplings with apple and onion sauce were a real find. Ended up getting a second order because they were that good.

Weekend lunch set is a good deal. The pizza from the oven near the door had a nice crispy crust. Appetizer plate was okay, a bit of everything.

Just the chef and one assistant. Sat at the counter and watched him cook everything. Felt really personal, like a private show. The food was good, but the whole vibe was the best part.

The thick-cut beef tongue with salt is the reason I came. Juicy, with a great texture. A bit pricey for the portion, but I'd order it again.

The wasabi leaves starter is nice. I usually get the soba set, but the noodle portion is huge, couldn't finish it all. The soup is light, and the fresh wasabi is sweet, not harsh.

They have a few veggie dishes. The staff was really friendly and checked in a couple times. Made it easy to just relax.

The Shinshu beef stew was very tender, and the sauce had a nice depth to it. What really stood out was the calm, dignified feel of the place. Loved the beautiful retro tableware they use – it added a quiet, classy touch to the whole meal.

Convenient spot between Nagano Station and Zenkoji. Grabbed a quick lunch before heading to the temple. The katsu curry was solid, decent portion for the price. The place was a bit crowded though, had to wait a few minutes for a seat.

Stumbled in after skiing, cold and tired. The steamed chicken rice was just 1000 yen. Simple, warm, and exactly what I needed. The steam rising from the bowl felt comforting.

Came for the grilled chicken, and it was as good as I remembered. The meat was juicy, with a nice char. Paired it with a local red wine that had a bit of spice, which worked really well. A solid choice when you want something reliable.

The avocado shrimp cutlet burger on the poster looked interesting, might try it next time.

Just had a proper lunch here by Nagano Station. The food was solid – a real step up from grabbing a quick bite. Service was fast, which was nice as I was between trains. Portion was decent too.

Sicilian food done right. The focaccia was fresh, warm. Caponata had that perfect sweet-sour thing going on. Felt like a small family spot back home.

Walked in hungry, saw the Japanese menu prices first. Ordered the wagyu steak anyway - it was really juicy. Sashimi was fresh too. Just noticed later the English menu was a bit pricier.

The grilled saba was perfectly cooked, and the stir-fried kimchi had such a genuine taste. The booth seating was very comfortable, which made the whole meal quite relaxing. Just a nice, straightforward dinner.

Food came out super fast, perfect for a quick lunch. The plates are really nice, makes the meal feel a bit special. Staff is friendly too. Got my order and was out the door in no time.

The staff were so friendly and patient. Even with the language barrier, they took their time explaining the menu. It made ordering feel relaxed and easy. The service was really considerate.

Had to wait in line for about 30 mins for dinner, but it moved fast. The vibe was perfect for catching up with friends—everyone was chatting and laughing. It was a bit loud, but honestly that just made it more fun for our group.

Been coming here for years. It's just a reliable spot to grab a coffee before my train, and the station WiFi always works.

The counter seats are the best. Just watching the chefs grill skewers in that cozy, traditional izakaya light… it’s so calming. A nice spot to unwind after a long day.

The tonkatsu was so good! Thick, juicy pork with a really crispy crust. Loved trying all the different sauces on the table.

The miso ramen broth was so thick and rich. Really warmed me up. The place itself has a nice, relaxed vibe with wooden tables and soft lighting, makes it easy to just sit and enjoy the bowl.

A very calm and bright space, perfect for a quiet coffee. The staff were polite and made ordering easy. I appreciated the comfortable seating - it's nice to not feel rushed. The coffee was good.
