The gyoza were really good, crispy on the bottom. The ramen broth was a bit too salty for me, but the fried rice helped balance it out. Solid spot for a quick lunch.

The bartender took time to explain the local drinks in English. Really appreciated that. It's the kind of attention that makes you feel looked after, even on a busy night.

The tonkotsu shoyu ramen. The broth's pork bone flavor is good, not too heavy, with a clear soy sauce finish. The noodles are medium-thick, nice bite to them. The char siu is a thick cut, flavorful. It's a solid bowl.

As a solo diner, I really liked that they offer half portions. It let me try a couple of different things with my wine without feeling wasteful. A nice, considerate detail for someone dining alone.

The soba noodles are really fresh and tasty. Perfect spot to grab a quick, quality bite with friends before hopping on the train.

The taiyaki here is great. The outside is super crispy, almost like a thin wing, but the inside is still soft and warm. The red bean paste isn't too sweet, just right. Perfect for a quick snack.

Had to walk through the onsen complex to find it, which was a nice little journey. The dining room looks out over the forest and garden. Very peaceful spot for a quiet meal. The grilled ayu was simple but the fish itself was incredibly fresh.

The duck soba was just right. A really comforting bowl, and the gyoza were simple but done well. Felt like a warm, honest meal.

The noodles are made in-house. Ordering at the machine is quick and straightforward. A solid, dependable option for lunch.

The vegetable tempura set was solid. Batter was light and crisp, not oily. Good variety of seasonal vegetables, each piece cooked just right. A reliable choice for a quick business lunch.

The kids' meal comes with a toy, which was a nice touch. Staff also brought a small plate for my child.

Convenient spot for a coffee break on the way to the castle. The seats were quite comfortable for a short rest.

The soba had a nice firm bite to it, which I really liked. Saru Soba with the tempura was my pick. The dipping sauce was flavorful without being too heavy. A solid spot for a quick, satisfying lunch.

The original and spicy fried chicken were both crispy outside, juicy inside. Good portion for the price. Service was efficient, got our order quickly. Convenient location near the station.

Been coming here for years, and the Spanish mackerel at lunch is always spot on. That crispy skin, the right price. It's why I keep coming back.

The strawberry warabi mochi drink is the highlight. The mochi texture is great, chewy and smooth. The strawberry flavor is rich without being too sweet.

The steak was cooked just right, and the burger had a nice char. But the real star was the wine list – found a local red that paired perfectly with the beef. Service was friendly, and the view over Nagano was so relaxing. A solid spot.

Came here every night on my trip. The happy hour vibe is just so cozy, and the staff always remembered my name by the second visit. That little touch made all the difference.
