Staying at this hotel in Guilin was incredibly convenient! It's located right within the East and West Alleys, so you step out directly into the old street. It's just a two-minute walk to Jingjiang Prince City, and very close to ZhengYang Pedestrian Street. In the evening, it's only a few steps to explore Xiaoyao Tower or take a stroll along the Li River. The biggest surprise was finding free parking in such a central downtown location – a real bonus for those arriving by car. After a long day of exploring, it's just a short walk back to the hotel to relax. And in the morning, it's perfectly situated to grab a bowl of Guilin rice noodles. The location truly is fantastic.

Staying here on weekdays is exceptionally peaceful. The room is impeccably clean with good natural light. When you open the window, you're greeted by lush green mountains, creating a very comfortable ambiance. When I had some free time, I'd go sit by the pool, enjoy the breeze, and take in the mountain views – it was incredibly relaxing. The attractions are all at a moderate distance, so getting around wasn't a hassle. The staff are very friendly and easygoing, and any issues I had were communicated smoothly. Meals are buffet-style and meet everyday dining needs. Overall, my stay felt very solid and reliable; it's a great place for a relaxing vacation.

Also, it was so sweet of the team to keep me stocked up with drinkable water over the last two days; such a thoughtful gesture! 💧 The desserts were also a highlight, especially the one I had yesterday (absolutely delicious, though I feel bad for not being able to finish both! 😅). But honestly, the room and the view are just on another level—literally breathtaking and beyond words. It’s been so hard to ‘move on’ from this experience! The hotel's location by the Two Rivers and Four Lakes is perfect – it's peaceful yet central. My room was window-facing, but it wasn't noisy at all. I booked a queen room and was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a super king room. Upon entering, I was greeted by a lovely green view, which was such a delightful surprise. The hotel is relatively new, clean, and tidy, with great amenities like a smart assistant (XiaoDu), an electric bidet toilet, a heated towel rack, and a direct drinking water dispenser – fantastic value for money! The service was also very thoughtful; during my two-night stay, a butler handled my laundry daily. The downstairs restaurant served delicious food too. All in all, I was very satisfied with this trip; it definitely enhanced my Guilin experience.

With a view right outside the window, stepping downstairs transports you into a picturesque scroll of mountains and rivers – distant peaks like painted brows, nearby waters hazy with mist, and swirling clouds that make you feel like you've entered an ink-wash fairyland. Choosing this place meant even a rainy day became a rare and beautiful experience. What was even more delightful was the hotel's service. The one-on-one butler was thoughtful and meticulous, ensuring everything ran smoothly from check-in to check-out. In the morning, that authentic bowl of Guilin rice noodles, with its rich卤香 (lu xiang - savory braised flavor), left a lasting impression. The room facilities were comprehensive, and the cleanliness was impeccable. This trip's perfect experience was set from the moment I first gazed out the window at the stunning view. Waking up in a misty haze and falling asleep surrounded by mountains and rivers – I wholeheartedly recommend this Guilin to anyone yearning for a poetic escape.

Another huge advantage is the hotel’s perfect location. SYYF Guilin is in close proximity to all the major attractions, making it extremely convenient to explore the beauty of Guilin without spending too much time travelling. Overall, this hotel offers the perfect combination of luxury, comfort, hospitality, and convenience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Guilin — we would definitely love to stay here again!

Gulong Stay Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5) I recently stayed near Gulong Canyon and had a wonderful experience overall. The area is surrounded by lush green mountains and rivers, so the views are absolutely stunning, especially in the early morning with mist in the valley. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and had a rustic charm that fit the natural setting. The main attraction — the glass bridge and skywalk — was breathtaking (and a little scary if you’re afraid of heights). Staff were friendly and helpful, though English was limited, so having a translation app helped. Local food was fresh and tasty, especially the river fish dishes. One tip: bring comfortable walking shoes and be prepared for some steep climbs. It’s best to visit on weekdays to avoid heavy crowds. Would I come back? Definitely — especially to enjoy more hiking trails and maybe try the zipline next time.

The room environment was great, with clean and tidy facilities, and even a swimming pool, though unfortunately, we don't swim. Overall, I'd give it a five-star rating. However, there were a few issues, some of which were my own fault. Usually, when we stay at a hotel, we only get one room card, but this hotel gave us two. As a result, when we checked out, we accidentally left one card behind. I realized this at the high-speed train station and, in a rush, found a SF Express delivery person to mail it back to the front desk. I'm very sorry about that. Another issue was that the room lighting was a bit dim. The front desk offered a desk lamp, but it was late, and I didn't want to bother, so I just went to sleep. I suggest adding a main light; it would be more convenient for using a phone at night. The hotel provided breakfast in the morning, but honestly, the rice noodles were just average and not very tasty, so I didn't finish them. The soup dumplings were decent, and the eggs and sweet potatoes were also okay. Overall, I'd rate the entire stay experience a 5, especially since the front desk upgraded our room. The 270-degree view room offered incredibly beautiful scenery. Finally, a side note: there's an electric scooter rental shop across from the hotel. If you want to rent one, you can do so there for 30 RMB a day, and two people can ride over 40 kilometers. There's also a restaurant next to the hotel, which I don't recommend; they charged us 160 RMB for two jin of beer fish, and I felt ripped off.

Honestly! This guesthouse in Yangshuo truly captured my heart 🌾. It's nestled deep within the rice fields of the Ten-Mile Gallery, surrounded by mountains, making for an incredibly peaceful environment. Away from the bustling crowds of the city, with endless pastoral landscapes and mountains, it's incredibly relaxing and destressing. The infinity pool offers breathtaking views directly overlooking the rice paddies and mountains, perfect for amazing photos. The overall decor is simple and comfortable, and the rooms have large floor-to-ceiling windows with expansive views, so you can enjoy the mountains and rice fields right from your bed. The service is also very attentive, and the overall stay experience was excellent.
