This was my first trip to Harbin, and I booked a riverside hotel near the Songhua River on Ctrip. My stay at the Harbin Habsburg River View Hotel (St. Sophia Church branch) was overwhelmingly positive, especially regarding the service and breakfast. From the greeters and front desk staff to the restaurant team, everyone was consistently described as 'warm, attentive, and caring,' making it feel just like home. They even offered complimentary access to the executive lounge, which truly showed how thoughtful and considerate the hotel is. The breakfast was incredibly rich and featured local specialties. What really stood out was the long serving time, from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM, allowing us to sleep in and enjoy it as a brunch – a luxury usually only found in international resort hotels. The variety was impressive, including Northeastern dishes like 'kill-pig' stew, chicken stew with mushrooms, 'Guo Bao Rou' (sweet and sour pork), iron pot stew, frozen pears, and Kvas, along with Lanzhou beef noodles, wontons, tofu pudding, and big bone stews. The hotel's location is also excellent. It's about a 10-minute walk (500 meters) to Central Street, the Flood Control Monument, and the Chinese Eastern Railway Bridge. St. Sophia Church and Daoli Market are within a 2-kilometer walk. Directly across from the hotel is the entrance to the Songhua River Cableway. We stayed on the 11th floor in a high-level river view room, offering distant views of the river and Swan Castle. The night view was truly beautiful. The room was well-equipped with a humidifier (essential in dry Northeast China), heated eye masks, sleep earplugs, a foot bath, bath salts, and charging cables. They also provided a complimentary fruit platter and snacks daily, and the bottled water was from Quanyangquan. This hotel is a 'service-driven' choice offering excellent value for money. With its thoughtful service, abundant breakfast, and convenient location, the Habsburg is definitely worth choosing. I would absolutely stay here again on my next visit to Harbin and would even recommend it to friends.

The room was quite clean. Although the facilities are a bit old, the overall cleanliness is very good. It's located right inside Xicheng Hongchang, making dining and entertainment super convenient. Wanda Plaza is directly across the street, and it's also very close to the West Railway Station. Plus, there's a night market nearby. The hotel staff also had a great service attitude.

The hotel's overall decor is opulent and grand, with a magnificent and refined lobby. Every detail exudes quality, making it very photogenic. The buffet breakfast offers a rich variety, including Chinese and Western options, Northeastern specialty pastries, hot dishes, desserts, fruits, and drinks. The ingredients were fresh and delicious, and I started each day feeling fully satisfied. The room itself was spacious and bright, meticulously cleaned, with soft and skin-friendly bedding and a mattress that was just right – neither too soft nor too hard. The soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a full night's sleep even though we were in a bustling area. The bathroom featured a wet and dry separation, high-quality toiletries, and strong water pressure. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, with clean elevators and public areas that were spotless and odor-free. This hotel is perfect for both leisure travel and short getaways, offering incredible value for money. Staying here in Harbin is definitely a sure bet. I'll choose this place again on my next visit and highly recommend it to all travelers!

It's incredibly convenient for getting around, just a 3-minute walk to Central Street, yet it's surprisingly quiet and peaceful. The interior is beautifully decorated, clean, and tidy, with new and functional facilities. What truly stands out is the hotel's service, which is incredibly thoughtful and detailed. First, the front desk gave me a complimentary room upgrade. Then, throughout my stay, the room was cleaned impeccably every day, and they offered personalized service based on my habits – for instance, noticing I drink a lot of water, they would leave extra bottles. Even my charging cables left in the room were neatly organized. On one of the days during my stay, it happened to be my birthday. While I was out, I received a call from the hotel, and they offered to order a cake for me! This truly is customer service taken to the extreme! I repeatedly declined, but in the end, the hotel ordered the smallest one as per my request, which was incredibly thoughtful. My entire stay here was wonderful, and I want to thank the hotel and all the staff.

When I had questions, everyone patiently answered them with a friendly and approachable attitude. Check-out was simple and fast, with no tedious waiting. The staff even proactively bid farewell, making the entire experience top-notch. Given its prime location on Central Street, combined with such considerate, thorough, and professional service, my whole trip became remarkably smooth. This hotel is perfect for both sightseeing and a short respite. The service level far exceeded my expectations, offering incredible value for money. The daily penguin ice and snow parade is an absolute must-see. A group of round, waddling penguins marching in neat lines is incredibly cute and heartwarming. You can even get up close and interact with the celebrity penguin 'Taotao'. The atmosphere is amazing, and every photo you take is a heartwarming masterpiece. My child was screaming with joy the entire time.
