Water Meworld is located in the urban core area opposite the Taipei Railway Station. It is an important transportation hub connecting the high-speed rail, Taiwan Railway, MRT, bus, and passenger railways. It has an excellent geographical advantage.
"The biggest highlight of Meworld Hotel is definitely its convenient location—super easy to get around from here. I also really appreciated the water dispenser next to the lobby area, which was a nice and practical touch.
However, there are a few areas that could be improved. The lobby itself is quite small, and the check-in policy is very rigid. Official check-in is strictly at 4:00 PM, and staff were unable to process registration earlier in the day to hand over room cards later. It would make a huge difference if they could complete pre-registration early so guests can just grab their keys and head up at 4:00 PM. Lastly, adding a key card drop-off box for check-out would speed up departure significantly during busy morning hours."

"Had a great stay at Midtown Richardson Hotel in Ximen from 29 August to 2 September 2026.
The location is definitely the biggest highlight. The hotel is right in the heart of Ximending, making it extremely convenient to explore the shopping streets, restaurants, cafés and night market. Ximen MRT Station is also within easy walking distance, which made getting around Taipei very convenient.
The room was comfortable and clean, and the overall stay was pleasant. The staff were friendly and helpful whenever we needed assistance.
I also liked how convenient the hotel was after a long day of sightseeing — plenty of food and shopping options are just steps away.
Overall, a great choice if you want to stay in the Ximending area, especially for first-time visitors to Taipei. Would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Taiwan! 🇹🇼"

"This place is a great choice for couples and solo travellers. It’s very budget friendly and new, I was thankful that the cleanliness was good as reviewed by the other recent travellers. As a solo female traveller, I found this place safe, convenient and near the Taichung Station, so even if you check in late, it’s easy to find. Free Coffee from a decent self-operated machine in the morning. Only complaint would be less sound-proofing and some noise from other rooms, but they anticipated this and provide ear plugs. All that can be overlooked cos of the other factors like cleanliness."

This is very practical for travelers who need to take a car or have luggage. Overall, the accommodation experience exceeded my expectations, offering good value for money, and it was quiet for a good night's rest. Simply perfect... The overall quality and comfort were outstanding. The dorm room was spacious and airy, featuring a full-length mirror and a long table with benches in the center for guests to place their belongings. My bunk felt very comfortable and hassle-free, perhaps because I was assigned a lower bunk, which made getting in and out easy. The upper bunks might be a bit more inconvenient. A great plus was that even the lower bunks were quite high, unlike some hostels where the beds are so low you feel like you're almost lying on the floor. The shower facilities were very comfortable, and they even provided hair oil. The common areas were also delightful, cozy, and beautifully designed with excellent分区. Upon check-in, they gave me a small Tainan travel guide. I read it thoroughly and found it incredibly charming and useful. The memory of relaxing on the beanbag in the common area, reading and taking notes that evening, is still so vivid. All in all, I highly recommend this place to anyone planning a trip to Tainan.

The family running this B&B was incredibly welcoming and hospitable. Our room was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, and the breakfast was delicious. The location is super convenient, and the owner even helped us plan our itinerary. Right next to the B&B is the Zhongzheng Elementary School bus stop, where you can catch buses 7a or 7b to both Shuito Wharf and Jincheng Station. It couldn't be more convenient!

It is basically a mansion sitting in an exclusive neighbourhood. The location is excellent! It sits on high ground overlooking the city and you can view the sunrise from the balcony early in the morning. At night you can sit outside the garden and watch the city lights while sipping on a cold beer. The best thing about the place is the owner. He was very hospitable and drove us into town and back! In the morning we had a 5 course breakfast before setting off.

既反炒This is a great onsen ryokan. The front desk service is excellent, and the room facilities are comprehensive. The hot spring water is sufficiently hot, very hygienic, and clean. I definitely recommend coming again.
Also, be sure to book breakfast in advance, otherwise, you won't get any.

Pros:
1. The hotel is central to zhong market, miyahara, sunshine outlet and other famous restaurants in Taichung.
2. Very clean room, nice bed and pillows. The housekeeper cleans the room everyday.
3. It has a smart toilet with bidet, shower, and smart tv. They give free shampoo, conditioner, and handwash.
4. They have a dyson hair dryer.
5. The bed and pillows are soft and gave us a good night sleep
Cons:
1. The toilet is smelly despite being cleaned everyday.
2. Only 2 hangers are available and it wasn’t enough for us
3. There was an ongoing construction outside and it was noisy during daytime
4. You could hear some little noises from people outside or from people in another room but tolerable
5. Small room but big toilet area

They were so sweet and thoughtful, the lady boss curated a list of places to visit, eateries, and night market finds for her guests. the list was super helpful and all her finds were so good, there was nothing that i didnt enjoy from her list. the view was amazing as well, i had a clear view of beibin park from my balcony. it also gave a really good view of the sunrise over the pacific ocean... when I checked out, I was gifted with so much hualien goodies... the service is amazing and I would definitely be back the next time i'm in hualien! having waku ard is also a huge plus point! thank you to jane and her team!

Beautiful hotel, as advertised on the beach with the sea view rooms having a beautiful view and sound of the ocean. Bath in the room was fantastic. Location awesome and other guests staying here so friendly as well. Brilliant night market and beaches in Kenting. Only suggestion I could make was a slightly bigger bed as for two Westerners is felt small as it was a double and springy bed so you feel the moments of your other half ! Breakfast was included but pretty simple egg, sausage, salad, fruit. However, good there was something as this town wakes up late !

tango24It's a bit of a walk from the TRA station, but still within walking distance. From the bus terminal, it's just a short stroll.
There's a Hi-Life convenience store at the bus terminal, and right next to it is a PX Mart supermarket.
The unmanned front desk allows for smooth check-in if you have a ********* phone number, but it's also manageable with just an email address. However, in that case, you'll definitely need a SIM card with data or a portable WiFi router.
Despite the very low price, the facilities are solid and clean. There's even a bathtub long enough to stretch your legs in, and it's fed by hot spring water.
The high sink is also a convenient touch.
Plenty of towels are provided, and amenities like a TV, air conditioning, hairdryer, and refrigerator are all available, along with numerous power outlets. There are even outlets by the bedside.
I'll likely stay here again the next time I visit Jiaoxi.
