Hotel Breakfast: The dining environment is excellent - clean, quiet, and offers an expansive view of the Gan River through floor-to-ceiling windows. The plates are just the right size, and the soup dishes are of great quality and incredibly delicious. The cold dishes are delicate and petite, and the pastries are adorably small, which is perfect for guests to try a little bit of everything without wasting food – truly commendable! The staff clearing plates are quiet, efficient, and discreet, which I particularly appreciate.
Hotel Room Service: I troubled the staff a few times, and they were consistently gentle and polite in their service. Many thanks!

Pros: Recently renovated and very clean, though I did find a hair on the headboard. When I reported it, nothing was done.
The room type we booked was a 'three-choice' option, and they assigned us a standard room that comfortably fit three people, which was great.
Cons:
1. The smell of new renovation was still very strong, definitely a 'flip property.'
2. Breakfast was incredibly unappetizing. The plain congee was greyish and had a sour smell.
3. They advertised a parking lot, but it only fits about ten cars, has no boom gate, can't be reserved, and isn't exclusively for the hotel. It just happens to be next to the hotel.
I specifically booked this hotel because it had parking, but when we arrived, there was no space. I called beforehand to ask if reservations were needed and was told no. When we couldn't park, they just told us to figure it out ourselves. When I complained to the front desk about the strong renovation smell and asked if we could switch rooms, they offered a refund instead. It was Chinese New Year, we arrived at 7 PM, and they expected us to find another place to stay after checking out and getting a refund?
Overall, Nanchang's urban tourism planning seems chaotic, with haphazard parking allowed on roadsides.
All in all, there were just too many people during Chinese New Year.

The hotel is new and luxurious. It is next to the Ferris wheel and there is an Impression City nearby, which is very convenient for eating, drinking and having fun. The night view of Ganjiang River is also spectacular when viewed from the hotel! There are many varieties of breakfast, and it is worth staying here with your family!

I booked a lake-view king room, and overall, the experience and accommodation environment were very good. The only two drawbacks were breakfast and parking. For breakfast, the dining hours are from 7 AM to 11 AM. Due to the holiday crowd, most people chose to eat between 9 AM and 10 AM to avoid peak times. However, the restaurant staff started rushing us to clear the tables around 10:30 AM, telling us to hurry up. Their service attitude was extremely unfriendly. Milk and soy milk were barely refilled; they'd just shake the container to give you a small serving. As for parking, it was also extremely inconvenient. They directed everyone to the underground garage, which led to chaotic parking, with cars lining the access aisles. The hotel's aggressive customer acquisition without adequate capacity will definitely lead to customer loss.

Traveling to Nanchang with my family, I spent a while deciding and finally chose the Grand Skylight Hotel! The hotel's location is absolutely amazing, right by the Gan River. Opening the window reveals a fantastic river view, and a stroll in the evening, enjoying the breeze, was incredibly relaxing. It's also very close to the Jiangxi Provincial Museum, which was super convenient for taking the kids to see exhibitions. Getting around was easy; we even tried Nanchang's famous 'Lao San Yang' dishes and visited the zoo, and the kids had a blast. We paid to upgrade to a family room, which was clean, comfortable, and had excellent soundproofing. The air conditioning was just right and very comfortable, and all the facilities were complete. The service was warm and attentive, with friendly front desk and concierge staff. Our entire stay was peaceful and comfortable. For families traveling with seniors and children, the location is stress-free, the stay is comfortable, and it offers incredible value for money! I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Nanchang, truly recommending it to friends traveling with family!
There were cigarette butts left in the bathroom of the room and they were not cleaned up. The front desk helped to change the room. I asked if there were any equipment for children, and was told that there was no such service, only for adults. To park, you have to drive from the auxiliary road in front of the hotel to an underground parking lot in a residential area. It is difficult to find it without calling to ask. It feels like the city construction and design are full of bugs. Compared to the city, it is relatively close to the Haihunhou Museum, and the museum is still worth a visit.

Traveling to Nanchang with my family for Chinese New Year, choosing the Sheraton Nanchang Hotel was definitely a wise decision. First off, the location is superb; the subway station is just a left turn outside the hotel, making it easy to reach all the main attractions. We even took the subway to and from the airport, which was incredibly convenient. Secondly, the hotel staff provided exceptional service. The front desk lady, knowing we had a late flight on our departure day, proactively arranged a late check-out for us during check-in, which really solved a problem for us. When we checked out, she even gave us some small Nanchang souvenirs, which made both the adults and children very happy. Lastly, let's talk about the hotel's facilities. The room was spacious, the bedding was comfortable, and the view was fantastic. We even watched Nanchang's New Year's Day fireworks display from our room, which was spectacular. The swimming pool was open from noon until night; my child went twice, and the water was clean, the temperature was just right, and it wasn't crowded. All in all, our stay was a wonderful experience, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Nanchang.
This hotel was a fantastic choice for my business trip! The location is absolutely perfect – so close to both the high-speed train station and my office, just a few minutes by taxi, which saved me a ton of commuting time. Check-in at the front desk took less than 3 minutes; it was super efficient, and they even proactively upgraded me to a quiet room on a higher floor. The room itself was spacious and spotless, with high-speed WiFi and plenty of outlets, which was perfect for getting work done. The soundproofing was also excellent. Breakfast offered a great variety without being overwhelming, with everything from hot congee and coffee to sandwiches. This will definitely be my top choice for future business trips!

Very strange. After checking in, I went out for dinner. While gone, I got some messages on WeChat from the front desk that there was a problem. When I returned, they told me that they couldn't register me and they needed more information. This is the first time that I had to show and have pictures taken of all my work visas I have had since I last entered the country six years ago, especially since there is no problem with my current visa. I don't know if it is the hotel itself that wanted this or the local PSB when they were registering me. Whatever the reason, it made me feel unwelcome. Other foreigners wanting to stay here - you might not be welcome. The law says that they must accept you, and they will accept you, but you know that they still don't want you to be there.

RRebeccaLupoWhen travelling, especially with a kid, cleanliness in a room is THE priority. Well, the room was NOT clean. The counter top in the bathroom was stained AND dirty, the room was dusty (you could see dust on the mirrors and other surfaces) and the floor was full of shoes footprints of different types. We asked for the room to be cleaned as we checked in, while we went for a walk, more than one our later we came back, the room was dirty as we left it.
I’m sorry but for such a price, in a 5 star hotel, this is absolutely not acceptable.
Besides, I seriously doubt that the measurements of the room are correct as it seemed waaaay smaller than what officially stated in the room info.
The view of course is breathtaking, that’s true.
Mind also that there is absolutely no separation between the wet room and the bedroom, no door, no curtains…so no privacy while taking a bath. And also that there is no fridge.
The lady at the reception was lovely, really kind, but it doesn’t make up for a dirty room.
GGuest UserOur trip to Sanqingshan this time, we stayed at the Hilton, which is right next to the scenic area. It was super convenient to get to the cable car, saving us a lot of travel time. The room was clean and spacious, with a great mountain view – we could watch the clouds and green mountains right from our bed. We booked a family room, and the bed was huge. The staff were enthusiastic and attentive, and check-in was quick. The breakfast selection wasn't huge, but the taste was good. The overall environment was quiet and elegant. While some facilities are a bit dated due to time, it was very convenient for resting after hiking. Great value for money, definitely a good choice for Sanqingshan – highly recommend!
GGuest UserHotel name is Grand Hotel International, but nobody at Hotel cannot speak English, nobody. They use translator by mobile, terrible.
At breakfast , no cheese, no ham , no juice....only chinese food....how it can be International.

GGuest UserThe hotel is right by the Ganjiang River, offering excellent views and a great location. There's a subway station nearby, making transportation very convenient. I checked in in the morning, and the front desk staff (the young man) was very nice, giving me a free upgrade to an executive room. Thumbs up!
