This hotel is located near the Wai Shuang Xi cable car, about a 10-minute walk away. The cable car isn't crowded, but the hiking route is quite strenuous! The hotel has an underground parking garage with fast-charging stations, which is convenient if you're driving. The rooms are split into two sections, separated by a road, with an underpass connecting them. The hotel facilities are a bit dated, but still acceptable. We booked a suite, which was spacious and perfect for a family of three. Our room had a balcony, and although it was quite a distance from the lobby, the view was absolutely stunning! Breakfast was decent, and the Chinese restaurant was also quite good. The selection of dishes wasn't huge, but the set menu prices were reasonable.

First time staying here and I had a really great experience. I even extended my stay for another night! The front desk was super quick with check-in, and they were very responsive to all my requests during my stay. The room decor was lovely and cozy, the mattress was so soft, I slept like a baby. Plus, they offer a late-night noodle snack, which was a nice touch! Getting around was convenient, and food deliveries could even be brought straight to my room. Excellent!

The room was spotless and free of any smoke smell, which was a big plus. Shortly after checking in, a welcome fruit platter was delivered, and to my surprise, it even included physalis (groundcherry) – I haven't seen this outside of Northeast China before, so that was a delightful surprise. The room's view was excellent, being on the 65th floor, offering a stunning high-altitude river view. At night, overlooking the Gan River and the magnificent night view of Tengwang Pavilion was breathtaking. The afternoon lounge was also quite good. The afternoon tea offered a decent selection of desserts and hot food. Enjoying a lovely meal while sitting by the window and admiring the scenery was truly wonderful. In the evening, the lounge (hh) even offered a choice of steak or lamb chops; I went with the lamb chops, and they were deliciously rich in flavor. Dinner at Xin Nan Xuan downstairs was excellent. Compared to popular 'influencer' restaurants outside, both the price and quality were far superior, with generous portions and fantastic taste. Service was very friendly. I used the member check-in counter, even though I'm not a member, because there was no one else there, and they didn't object. Since I had an early morning flight the next day and left quite early, they thoughtfully prepared a grab-and-go breakfast for me, which was very considerate.

Overall, the hardware and service foundation are quite impressive. The hotel lobby is exceptionally well-designed, featuring arched structures paired with artistic feature walls that exude a grand and upscale ambiance. The gym in the public area is fully equipped and meticulously maintained, making daily workouts very convenient. The guest rooms are spacious and airy, featuring a modern light luxury interior style. The solid wood flooring feels great underfoot, and all desk corners have been rounded for anti-collision safety—a very thoughtful touch. The oversized floor-to-ceiling windows offer phenomenal views, overlooking the urban greenery and lake with perfect natural lighting. The freestanding bathtub allows you to soak while enjoying the view, making it ideal for unwinding during a trip. From front desk reception to housekeeping, the staff were friendly and responsive, ensuring a very pleasant experience throughout. Areas for Improvement: 1. The mirror at the bathroom vanity is set too far back, making it quite difficult for near-sighted guests to see clearly—not very user-friendly. Additionally, items like the electric kettle are placed directly on the vanity countertop, mixing with the washing area and lacking clear functional zoning. Even though I don't use the hotel's kettle myself, it still looks visually cluttered and cramped. It is recommended to add a movable vanity mirror and better organize the countertop layout. 2. Breakfast was the biggest letdown of this stay and falls short of five-star hotel expectations. It lacks local Jiangxi specialties, offers a limited variety of hot and cold dishes, leans toward heavy flavors, and features too many deep-fried items, which aren't quite suitable for breakfast. The noodle station only offers rice noodles and regular noodles with few options. Fried eggs are pre-cooked and piled up in advance rather than being made to order. It's acceptable for a short 1-2 night stay, but staying for 3 consecutive days leads to too much repetition and a lack of choices. 3. There was a gap in the lobby bellhop service experience. As a five-star standard hotel, door staff were standing right at the entrance upon arrival and departure, but they never proactively stepped forward to inquire or assist with luggage. They just stood by quietly, lacking proactiveness, which falls short of the service standards expected of a five-star hotel. While the rest of the front desk and housekeeping services were on point, I hope they can improve proactive service awareness at the entrance and bell desk. 4. The hotel is part of an office building complex, and the first-floor lobby hosts wedding banquets. During my stay, coinciding with a wedding, the lobby was crowded and quite noisy, which could disturb guests seeking a quiet stay. Elevator wait times also increased, compromising privacy and tranquility. Summary: The hotel's hardware, views, and service are generally top-notch, and the public areas are extremely photogenic, perfect for social media check-ins. If you are just staying for a short term and value views and room space, it is worth choosing. However, for a longer stay, we look forward to breakfast improvements and better crowd management for wedding banquets to minimize disruption to hotel guests.

This is probably the only ” international ” option in Ruichang. There was only coke and water as soft drink for breakfast one day.

My stay at the Greentown Primus Hotel Nanchang International Expo City was excellent. The location is unbeatable, right next to the Expo City, making it super convenient to get to the West Railway Station. The room was clean and spacious, with great soundproofing, and the bedding was soft, ensuring a high-quality rest. The breakfast offered a wide variety, including local specialties. The heated pool and gym facilities were well-equipped. The staff, especially Yilia, were enthusiastic and courteous. It's a perfect choice for business travelers and definitely recommended.

I hesitated a bit before writing this review about my Sheraton stay, but overall, the experience didn't live up to the good impression I usually have of Marriott Group hotels. Let's start with the two positives: first, the cleanliness was acceptable, and second, the only place where I experienced a hint of service awareness was at the breakfast restaurant, where I was greeted and seated. Now, for the less satisfactory aspects. I frequently stay at Marriott or IHG hotels. For an established American service brand like Sheraton, I found this experience to be an overall discomfort at an operational level. It's not about blaming individual staff or the front desk. From the moment I stepped into the hotel from the garage, no one acknowledged me, and the front desk staff offered no smiles. After check-in, no one offered to help with my luggage, not even as a courtesy. When I encountered staff on the way to my room, no one initiated a smile or greeting. I also had no idea where breakfast was. I tried calling, but perhaps there was a line issue, as it took five calls for someone to pick up. The ”deluxe triple room” was essentially a king-size river view room with an added small bed. For 1250 a night, I wouldn't expect this level of service. The toiletries were from Meijiang, which I don't recall ever seeing before; many five-star hotels in the Jiangsu-Zhejiang region use Bulgari. So, even though I received a complimentary breakfast, which initially made me consider a good review, the overall experience simply didn't meet my expectations. The young lady at the front desk was aware of my feelings and sincerely apologized, which I appreciated. However, I still want to express my honest thoughts, hoping that the hotel's operational management can improve service quality and awareness. One cannot rely on just one front desk interaction to boost overall satisfaction. I remember staying at the Wyndham in Yichang during the May Day holiday, and their service was thirty times better than this. Nanchang is a provincial capital, and this service standard is truly subpar. The above are just my personal, honest feelings. Please bear with me!

I had a wonderful stay at Galactic Classic International Hotel in central Nanchang. The location is unbeatable, steps away from Bayi Square and many local food spots, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. My room was spacious, well‑furnished and spotlessly clean. Large windows brought in plenty of natural light, and the bed was incredibly comfortable for a good rest after long days out. All amenities worked perfectly, and housekeeping kept everything neat each day. The breakfast buffet offered a wide range of both local specialties and international choices, fresh and flavourful. Every staff member I met was polite, attentive and quick to respond to requests. If you are visiting Nanchang, this hotel is a solid pick for comfort, service and prime downtown location. I would happily come back on my next trip.

For my weekend trip to Nanchang, I specifically looked for a hotel near Bayi Square. Parking was very convenient and free during my stay. The hotel is right next to Metro Line 4, so I'd recommend leaving your car at the hotel and using the subway to get to attractions – no need to worry about parking then. The room was quite spacious with a separated wet and dry area in the bathroom, plus a mini-fridge which was great for chilling drinks. I had dinner on the second floor of the hotel, and the 'Three-Cup Chicken' was absolutely delicious. They also offer thoughtful services for guests with children, like providing a baby bathtub and bed rails. Kids can even go to the front desk to unlock a small toy, which is a nice touch. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel.

The room is fully equipped, comfortable, bright, and spacious. It's spotlessly clean and very cozy. The location is incredibly convenient, being just a short walk from the scenic area. There are also plenty of great dining options nearby.
