I had few nights stay and liked this hostel room spacecious and clean. The owner Mr Li is a down to earth person and don't forget about his front liners Ms June, Ms Chen, Mr Huang, Ms Chuen, and Ms MA all are very friendly and helpful even knowledgeable if any queries, especially Ms June would delighted to share and guide you at all things. You feel like home for the enviroment here as everyone mix and chat around especially at the living room and pantry (as my pictures) The brand embassador of the hostel is Mr Bo a cute and fluffy cat. Yunbo Hostel in a strategic location about 30 mins walk to Urumuqi Train and Bus station too and you can catch local buses to places with only RMB2 By the way, It is hastle free to feed your tummy as there are some local food restaurants and convenience stalls below the building It is a worth for value and if I have a chance to be back to here in future, this definitely would be my first choice by heart and strongly recommend to all my friends. Walking distance from the airport so perfect for me who just had a few hours to catch some sleep before having to return to the airport early the next morning. Room was basic but worth the price for me.

The hotel is right at the tourist service center. It takes only 2 or 3 minutes to get there by bus. It is very convenient. The housekeeper Xiao Fang warmly welcomed us to check in and sent us a lot of precautions and tour routes. It is very reliable! After playing for an afternoon, you can go back to the hotel to rest and have afternoon tea. It is very comfortable. When it is cold, the room has floor heating, so you don’t have to worry about the cold. To watch the sunrise the next day, you can make an appointment with the hotel and it will be delivered to the bottom of the observation deck for free. The breakfast is also very rich and I am very happy to eat it! In short, I highly recommend staying in this hotel when you come to Hemu~

First things first, this is clearly a knock-off ‘Hampton by Hilton’ - branding the same, room design the same, and to be fair they’ve done a decent job of it. Room was modern, spacious and clean. Unfortunately, that’s about as positive as I can be about my stay. The location is fine, albeit not many good local restaurants or sights within walking distance, you’ll need to get a taxi. Service at front desk was inattentive and unprofessional. When I tried to use the phone in the room to call front desk and/or housekeeping, the line automatically disconnected. The worst aspect of my stay was the “smart” aspects of the room. Firstly, the aircon does not work. It was 34/35 degrees throughout my stay and despite putting the aircon on 16 degrees with maximum fans, the temperature in the room barely dropped below 27/28 degrees all night. Bring your own fan! The “smart” controls meant that all the lights in the bathroom came on as soon as you moved, which is not what you want in the middle of the night. Equally, the control panel was blinking constantly, right next to the bed, which was very annoying if that kind of thing affects your sleep (it does mine). Worst of all was the TV that simply would not turn off, and was incredibly bright, right in front of the bed. I ended up having to dismount the TV from the wall and completely unplugging it just to get the room semi-dark. Incredibly annoying. If you want a dark room, with a comfortable temperature, this is not the place for you… Its a shame, because the hotel has potential, but as it is I can’t recommend it given these fairly fundamental issues.

Pluses: they gave us a quiet room that was clean and comfortable. Minuses: None of the staff could speak English(. The door to that bathroom was strange - opening from the basin, very funny). The hotel is OK for an overnight stay between flights.

This was an excellent hotel with superb services. The staff, in particular was very helpful in arranging drives to various interesting sites. The lady called Sophia spoke excellent English which made life easy for foreigners. The only thing I would recommend is that they make an effort to clean the carpets more thoroughly.

This is definitely the best youth hostel I have ever stayed in in Xinjiang and even in China! It’s not even inferior to foreign youth hostels. The atmosphere is simply great. I highly recommend backpackers to stay here. As a backpacker wandering the world alone, I met a group of very interesting friends here. Everyone drank, chatted and played games every night. As a result, I stayed for a week when I originally only wanted to stay for two days. The youth hostel is very clean and hygienic. Although he said that this youth hostel It took a lot of investment and he was under a lot of pressure, but I think he did it. At least for me, living here these days gave me, a wandering son in the world, a short-term home and happiness, and I made many friends. I will come to Yili next time! Fairly big hostel some shared rooms have their own bathrooms (bring your own TP). Very clean— breakfast and dessert (at night) provided. English is a challenge so don’t expect info about sightseeing, restaurants, transport, etc. Location is great—right in the middle of the renovated ancient city. Lots of bars and restos nearby. Good overnight stay.

I stayed in this hotel last year and stayed one night again this year. The advantages are that the room price is relatively affordable, there is free parking, and the location is not bad. You can reach the south gate of the ancient city by crossing the overpass at the entrance of the hotel, and the west side of the ancient city has a more original atmosphere. The only problem is that the room decoration is a bit old, and the shower is not very comfortable.

Before checking in, I stayed at the nearby X Lun Hotel with a group. Compared with the two, I think Meihaoli is the winner. The front desk has a smiling face and greets everyone every time they enter and leave the hotel. The cleaning staff are also enthusiastic in their service. I stayed for 3 nights in a row and am leaving today to go back to Taiwan. I want to thank them for making me feel at home. Although there is little chance of coming back, I will recommend the travel agency I join to try this hotel.

It is directly just opposite the ancient city of Kashgar. Very convenient to get cabs to other points of interest and back to airport. It is an oasis of calm when you are inside with one of the better buffet breakfast spread and elegant dining room to be enjoyed compared to a lot of other China hotels we went to. The ancient city can get very commercialized with a whole row of loud night entertainment joints facing the hotels opposite but non the less for us with inner room facing, it was not noticeable at all. The Kashgar TV Tower is just a short walking distance down the road which is a must see for its observation deck for a bird’s eye view of the city. At night with the lights on ( the ancient city and tower) it is just magical! Furthermore if you buy a certain amount in it’s gift shop you can get a free ticket to go up. Will definitely book this hotel again if coming back.

The cabin is super cool~ It’s a bit expensive to stay during the National Day holiday, but the experience is great. The housekeeper is super nice, basically responsive to all requests. Since the room is near the lake view, they kindly reminded me that mice might want to crawl into the house at night due to the temperature difference. My mother praised the breakfast as ”clean and safe.” When you come to Altay, you may encounter extreme weather at any time. This time, you were stranded in Xinjiang due to a snowstorm and cold wave. Your flight was delayed and you couldn't ski. You had to stay in the hotel. This highlighted the gap between hotels. Fortunately, the most correct decision for this trip was to stay here. The butler service is reassuring and the room environment makes people want to stay there forever. When traveling, only by living well can you have a good time.
