The room is relatively large, the facilities are a bit old, the air conditioner cannot adjust the wind speed, and it is a bit noisy. The hotel has a good environment, the garden is large, and the swimming pool is quite satisfactory. Located in a hot spring town, it produces many brands of mineral water. The most famous is that the Vichy Catalony, Hotel belongs to the Water Factory Group.
The hotel has its own chapel and can organize activities.
Breakfast is not very good, there are few choices.
Our trip just ended, and I can confidently say: this was the worst hotel we've ever booked! I had a bit of a cold on check-in day, so I asked the front desk for a higher, quieter floor to rest and recover. Instead, we were given a room with a window overlooking the parking lot, a strange smell in the bathroom, and the head of the bed facing the toilet. I was really surprised, especially since this was a 'deluxe room' we booked well in advance. What was even more frustrating was that the next morning, while washing up, the drainpipe fell off, and the water flooded the floor. I, feeling feverish, went to the front desk to request a room change, only to be told it couldn't happen until a maintenance person assessed it... they completely ignored our suggestion! The pipe was reinstalled but fell off again the very next day. My family told me, 'You're sick, just focus on resting! Don't argue, don't get angry.' So, they found a way to use a trash can to prop up the constantly falling drainpipe. But we still spent a few days lying in a smelly room (with the window open in freezing weather) until my fever broke and we checked out! And this was during Christmas!
Facilities: Poor
Service: Bureaucratic, process-driven, pretentious, and a waste of time.
Hotel muy señorial, bonito, habitaciones y baño amplias. Piscina y Spa. Desayuno buffet muy completo y rico. Restaurante con menú, te dan la opción de que sí el día de salida, reservas un tratamiento o comida restaurante, te dejan la habitación hasta las 18,00. Una maravilla para poder aprovechar el día.
The views are absolutely spectacular! Both from the room and the dining area, the scenery is mesmerizing from the moment you arrive. In that regard, I think it's the best *Parador* I've ever stayed in. The rooms are also quite good, though not excellent. The breakfast buffet is varied and of good quality, featuring local products, which is standard policy for these establishments. The restaurant is also quite good. We had dinner there two nights and ordered different things each time. Our favorite was the beef sirloin, although all the other dishes were also very good. The entire staff is very friendly, and surprisingly quick with service in the dining room and at breakfast. The outdoor parking is free and has six paid charging points for electric cars at 11kwh. We're very happy to have chosen this *Parador* for our stay in the Aran Valley.
We have been two days in August in this old classic bathroom in the area that passed to belong to a chain about three years ago. Some rooms have been renovated even though not ours. The room was very comfortable and the room was very comfortable. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable. Unfortunately, thermal tourism is not compatible with the chichi park and some un educated and carota parents benefit from bad decisions by managers without criteria. The hotel is very comfortable and it is very good to get a breakfast that is already costing €12. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable and very comfortable. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. There are sites around for eating or buying but as August some are closed, less the works the Municipality decides to postpone to August without taking into account that many people just come to leave their money to Caldes to get We hope that next time there will be no works but follow the friendly and efficient personal.

The hotel has an excellent location, within walking distance of Casa Batlló, Sagrada Familia, and Casa Milà. The surrounding environment is lovely, with supermarkets nearby and plenty of dining options; there's even a coffee shop downstairs. What I want to highlight most is the male receptionist at the front desk. From check-in, he was incredibly helpful, assisting us with our luggage and even carrying it to our room. He also had a wonderful interaction with my son. When we were leaving, I called an Uber to the airport, but the driver couldn't take the ride because of my son. I was about to miss my flight and was extremely anxious. He kept trying to comfort me and reassure me, telling me not to worry. He was truly the best person I met; I'm so grateful. In the end, we arrived at the airport safely and caught our flight.
A short stay for of 2 days was booked with Triip.com for one adult and 2 children under 10, to join us who were booked in a day earlier for three days. Our three day booking was direct with the hotel, half board. The hotel is marked 'adults recommended' and they sure discourage children, by seeking to charge per occupancy rather than simply on a cost per room. The Trip site quite fairly offered the room at the rate for two adults, with children under 12 free, so this is what was paid. Half board was added but at the rate for two adults, which would be greater than the actual hotel rate for one adult and two children, but I was happy to have reserved restaurant secured.
Things got messy at check in, the hotel insisting that the room was occupied by three 'persons' as they put it and should therefore be 50% extra, though the room was the same type as the twin we had for two adults. The Hotel also insisted that only breakfast was provided, and tried to argue that the B2B rate from the third party (Trip) was insufficient. I politely pointed out that the discounts provided to third party agents was no concern of the customer, and referred to my booking voucher which clearly stated I had booked a twin room, into which was going 1 adult, two very small children, and that breakfast and dinner was paid for, with the rate for 1 adult being greater than twice the local charge for a child. They were impossible to deal with, and I left the reception angry and upset. I contacted the Trip representative and by that evening it was sorted. Full marks to Trip, zero to the hotel.
As for our stay, the hotel is excellent, but with room to improve. Dinner in the Buffet only commences at 8.00, resulting in quite the bunfight if the restaurant is busy. It was on that Thursday, a national holiday, and it was impossible to order wine and beverages after we seated, with a single service person taking orders. We ate our food dry, and finally placed an order for wine and water while eating dessert, some 40 minutes after seating. The same bottleneck occurred the next morning at breakfast, with the four snail paced Nespresso machines totally incapable of dealing with the coffee demands. Worse, all 4 machines overheated and went into 'service mode'. Worse again, these obviously unsuitable barista machines were the only source of hot water for Tea or infusions, but with no seperate hot water dispenser faucet. You had to stand for almost 2 minutes while the machine slowly dispensed through the coffee outlet, a single mug of hot water, to the frustration of the queue behind. This needs sorting, it took ages to get a breakfast beverage every morning, and on the second day I had to return 4 floors to my room and fill my cup from the in room Nespresso maker. I'd advise to bring a travel kettle with you.
Otherwise, a fine hotel, but the restaurant problems and discriminatory pricing for children are an issue, so not a hotel for children.
I chose this hotel for a conference in Barcelona. It's the designated hotel for the conference and is a little far from the CCIB venue, but it's super convenient to take the subway. It's just one block away. The room is long and narrow, with plenty of space and comfortable bedding. You can even see two major Barcelona landmarks when you open the curtains. I'm so happy. The hotel is very clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast exceeded my expectations. I was very satisfied. The restaurant on the first floor of the hotel is delicious and highly recommended. It's one of the best meals I've had in Barcelona. The only downside is that breakfast closes at 10:30 and the venue has to be cleared immediately. I wanted to eat slowly after picking up the last meal.

KKimmyg43I had high hopes for this ”4star hotel”
From the pictures and the previous reviews everything seemed like it was too good to be true...
Arrival was average, had to ask which way to go to get to my allocated room (normally you are directed by a member of reception atleast)
Arrived at my room (104) 1st floor.
Opened the door to a bright airy room..my first thoughts were this is lovely.
Dropped my bags and took a shower and that's where things started to go downhill...let me explain...
Now I am aware this is not 5 star but if im being totally honest I have stayed in cleaner 2 star hotels...
The attention to detail from the cleaners is just way below par for a 4 star establishment.
Shower door covered in limescale (easy to put right with a bit of Elbow grease)
Mold and nasties around the outer edge of the shower door (see pics)
Splash marks all over the tiles at the side of the sink (like old toothpaste marks)
Sink wouldn't drain properly (seemed to be blocked)
Skirting boards definitely hadn't been given a wipe for a good few weeks/months
All standard/basic stuff that you would expect from any hotel and certainly from a 4 star one or am I being picky?
Then there was the call to reception to ask for some milk so I could make a coffee (kettle is provided in room)
Receptionist said they don't have fresh milk only 'powdered sachets' of the most vile tasting milk I've ever had (think baby milk/gone off normal milk)
Apparently the restaurant was closed so they could not access it to get some fresh milk?
Receptionist advised me to go to the supermarket..which is a 25 minute walk from the hotel 🤦♀️
As it happens there is a coffee machine outside the reception entrance so I found myself nipping downstairs to buy one from there. (Not the most convenient but we move forward)
I had read that there was a rooftop restaurant in the flyer as advertised but when I asked about it apparently it is no longer there?
The restaurant is only open at breakfast times so no food is available not even snacks? However they advertise room service so unsure how that works?
Outdoor pools closed which is fine but you couldn't even sit on the loungers hence....nowhere to sit outside the hotel itself.
Such a shame that all these little things build and in turn let it down as a 4 star advertised hotel.
Now for the positives...
The view from the room of the sea is beautiful
It is literally across the road from miles of sandy beaches
There are a couple of lovely restaurants nearby that are open from 12 noon for brunch/dinner and reasonably priced.
The area itself is super quiet and feels safe enough as a solo traveller.
GGuest UserThis hotel isn't in central Barcelona but in a nearby town, right by the yacht marina. The sea-view rooms are fantastic, perfect for a morning run or stroll along the coast. While the hotel facilities show their age a bit, the room size is decent, and the breakfast spread is quite good. Overall, a solid choice.
GGuest UserAbsolutely amazing! The price was reasonable, the room was beautiful, and there was even a swimming pool. The only minor drawback is that the transportation isn't super convenient; it's about an 18-minute walk to the train station and city center. However, the bus service is pretty good, just remember to plan ahead and buy your tickets in advance. Seriously, the room was fantastic – the best one I stayed in during my entire Europe trip! The front desk lady was lovely and incredibly helpful. I'd give this place a super high rating! The only tiny issue was with the city tax; it felt a bit disorganized as they checked again before I left, thinking I hadn't paid, even though I had. But those are just minor things. Definitely giving this a huge thumbs up! Everyone should stay here! 🌸
BBailidaiwangWhat first surprised me about this hotel was how incredibly friendly it is towards Chinese tourists. There was even a Chinese New Year greeting card and fruit on the room table. The front desk staff wished us a Happy New Year too! The moment we walked in, a wave of happiness just washed over us.
The hotel lobby is incredibly stylish, well-designed, and has a grand, trendy feel to it.
I really loved the many thoughtful design details inside the room. The embroidery on the slippers was very intricate, as were the bathrobes, which featured many embroidered butterflies. The hotel also has a dedicated area in the room for makeup and hair drying, which I absolutely adored – and the mirror is an irregularly shaped design, very beautiful. Even the mineral water bottles were beautifully designed. This hotel just emanates happiness everywhere you look.
The hotel environment fully meets five-star standards, but there are a few small details that could be improved. For example, the showerhead sprays water in a chaotic way and hasn't been fixed, and the water pressure is quite low, making showering a bit uncomfortable. Also, the hotel doesn't seem to have solutions for certain guest requests. For instance, I wanted to heat up some food I brought back from outside, and the hotel couldn't accommodate. I believe that for a five-star standard, they should consider and properly address customer needs.
GGuest UserIt's a pretty good hotel, especially if you're traveling by car. It's conveniently located close to the airport, and the city center is only about a 10-minute drive away.
The rooms are quite spacious and look clean.
Breakfast was quite hearty, with options like hash browns and pancakes, and everything tasted good.
It's worth noting that all the elevators in this hotel are panoramic elevators, so those with a fear of heights should be aware.
NnananonoGenerally, it was 3 star experience.
Advantages: good cleaning service, buffet food was okay most of the time, hotel is located very close to the sea.
The biggest disadvantage is an “all inclusive”, it is definitely not comparable with Turkish all inclusive. First of all, visitors who paid for all inclusive are not getting anything in mini-bar, not even a water. You can get water from the bar from a water cooler, but you have to have your own bottle. Also, their “all inclusive” does not include a lot of drinks from the bar, and restaurant near the main bar and in front of the sea. The “all inclusive” ice cream is a joke, instead of the normal ice cream you are getting a smallest version of only 2 or 3 basic ice creams, for all other ones you need to pay. Also, the “snack bar” is located outside of the hotel, food itself was not too bad, but pretty basic, the area was very small and near the children’s swimming pool. For the beach towels you need to give 10€ deposit in cash, and if you want sun lounger with umbrella on the beach you need to pay 25€ for one day use. The hotel bar on the beach is also non “all inclusive”.
So, out of all hotel locations you only can use your all inclusive benefit in 2 bars and 1 “snack bar” + buffet.
Overall, hotel is not bad but not good.
Would only recommend to go there with option bed+breakfast, and pay for the rest meals and drinks. It will be cheaper and you will not feel like an outsider or beggar, going around the hotel asking where you can eat. Because that how we felt exactly.
P.S. Russian lady in the adults only bar was providing an amazing service and was very helpful and kind :)
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is beautifully designed, with a swimming pool, blue sky and sea as standard. Many locals come here for vacation! The breakfast is rich in variety, the service staff is also very enthusiastic, the room is spacious and comfortable, I will come here a few more times next time to enjoy a few more days!
AAnonymous UserThe room is separated by a cabinet. The sea view is very beautiful, go out to the sea one step. Suitable for travel. Living is very comfortable and should come again. Four-star hotel, almost four-star standard.
CChangyouxiaoyuzhouFirst off, a huge shout-out to the service! From the moment we checked in, the front desk staff were incredibly warm and efficient, always with a genuine smile, and patiently answered all our questions. It wasn't just the front desk; every staff member throughout the hotel, from the pool attendants to the restaurant servers, made us feel comfortable, cared for, and truly valued. My elderly travel companions are quite particular about their food, and they had a few unconventional requests. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate them, and that feeling of being prioritized was truly wonderful.
The room's view also deserves a special mention! The moment I pulled back the curtains, I was absolutely stunned. The panoramic sea view outside was breathtaking and magnificent, with planes occasionally flying by. It's just a few minutes' walk to the beach, and at night, you can see countless lights twinkling. Even at midnight, people were everywhere on the beach, chatting, playing beach volleyball, and even doing Western-style line dancing. Every photo you take turns out picture-perfect.
Facilities and dining also didn't disappoint. The outdoor pool environment was fantastic; just soaking in it and enjoying the view was incredibly relaxing. The breakfast spread was super diverse, offering a full range of Chinese and Western options, hot and cold dishes, fruits, and desserts. Every morning, we started our day feeling satisfied and happy. For dinner, we opted for a set menu, and the portions were incredibly generous – enough to easily fill two people, and the taste was spot-on.
All in all, whether it's the service, the environment, or the dining, the W Barcelona excels in every aspect. Next time I'm in Barcelona, I'll most likely choose this hotel again! Absolutely fantastic!
