Hotels With spa in Rogaland, Norway

Breakfast was great and we liked our room. However, less than 24 hours after we checked out, I realized I’d forgotten my new North Face jacket in the closet in our hotel room. I called the hotel and they told me to email a picture of the jacket, which I immediately did. Since we were still in the area, we returned to the hotel. The ladies at the front desk said my jacket had been found and they were just trying to locate it and asked us to wait. We waited for an hour. They said they couldn’t find my jacket. Several of the ladies contradicted each other each time we asked them what was going on and why it was taking so long. They finally said the jacket couldn’t be located. They were supposed to follow up and tell me what they would do to make this right. The hotel never followed up. One of their employees called and said the hotel wasn’t going to do anything about it and told me she was calling from her personal phone. Sadly, there are some dishonest employees working at this hotel and someone took my brand new jacket that I’d only worn once since I bought it that week.

The location is incredibly convenient. The airport shuttle and the Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock) tour bus pick up and drop off right in front of the hotel. It's in the city center, with the bus terminal (where you catch the bus to Kjeragbolten/Kjerag Boulder) and the ferry terminal, along with many attractions and famous restaurants, all within a few minutes' walk. There's also a beautiful lake right across the street. The hotel is clean and tidy, and the room size is relatively large compared to other European hotels I've stayed in. The breakfast is very generous, and both the taste and quality are excellent.
