"Originally booked for 3 nights, the first day of check-in was about 9 o'clock in the evening, the front desk was off work, I needed to call their office to get the password, and then open the key box at the door. The whole experience was not very good. The service could not keep up. Later I learned that there was no night shift because there were not many rooms. Entering the room, I found that the room was different from the photo. Although the layout was the same, the real room was old and the lights were cold (the bedside lamp was smacked for a long time and it was not turned on). Later, I asked to retreat, and nothing in the room moved. The next day, the front desk and I confirmed that the first night's room rate was charged, and the later could be refunded. The overall feeling is still thanks to the hotel's willingness to refund, and the room facilities and night front desk service are recommended to be improved."

Location-wise, it's right by Wellington train station, making it a great choice if you're arriving by train or heading to London. Facilities: They're quite old. The air conditioning was one of those large, vintage units I'd never seen before, and it was incredibly noisy, so I just turned it off. The room had a microwave and cutlery, and surprisingly, a mini-bar – which you usually don't find in hotels at this price point. However, there was a snag: no price list for the mini-bar. While I knew the bottled water in the fridge wouldn't be free, I was still surprised to be charged $7 upon checkout (when a similar bottle is around $2.50 at the supermarket). Service: The downstairs restaurant has long operating hours. I was able to order a delicious burger after a late check-in, and grab a coffee and a pastry to go during an early checkout. Most of my positive impression comes from that restaurant.

Great location! There's a Countdown supermarket just a 3-minute walk away, Cuba Street is about 15 minutes on foot, and the National Museum is only 5-6 minutes. It's relatively affordable, although parking is $50 a day for valet, as parking around here is tough. The rooms have cooking facilities, and there's a small pool plus a hot tub. For this price and location, I think it's pretty good. It's about a 15-minute drive to the ferry terminal, perfect for catching an early boat. The art collection at the hotel is truly impressive; I looked it up and the owner is a very well-known local collector.

Great hotel, Friendly staff, very clean, room service excellent. Love the sauna, spa, pool. Beautiful hotel we really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely book Bolton hotel again. Bedding very comfortable. We had the garden view

the hotel and service are very good. location is convenient to almost everything in Wellington. We however had problem checking out when i was told to pay extra fee for accomodation despite trip.com already paid everything. i had to sort this out with trip.com and they dropped the charge.
