The location is great with nice cafes and restaurants nearby. The service is very good too. They helped move the luggage into room when room is ready. Very clean room. The bath tub made of cedar wood smells nice, making the bath very liberating. Breakfast is also good. Highly recommended.

A lovely stay at this beautiful and small Ryokan, in a more quiet area of Kyoto, but not far from the beating nightlife of the city. The hosts were very helpful and very very friendly. One small critic though: while the Japanese style breakfast was delicious, it was the same every day over the course of 4 days.

A stunningly beautiful little inn. Its name is Jingxiaosu, not a gourmet hotel. Of course, it does have food, which is quite good. Reservations are required. Personally, I think it's a truly amazing inn.
