I recently had a disappointing experience at Royal Palm Restaurant, located at 1 Orchid Club Road, #01-21 Social Club House, Singapore 769162, within the Orchid Country Club. While the food was exceptional, the service was subpar. I booked a dinner for my 21st birthday party for 52 people, and the staff, particularly Ms. Dhanni, struggled with communication and explanation. There were significant misunderstandings, and the negotiation process was frustrating.
What made matters worse was her unprofessional behavior when I tried to explain my concerns. She claimed that there was CCTV footage and implied that I was lying. I was taken aback by her tone and attitude. I believe that if there are any disputes, they should be handled with respect and professionalism. I would appreciate it if the management could review the CCTV footage and audio recordings to understand the situation better.
Given the large group and special occasion, I expected better service and understanding from the staff. Unfortunately, the poor communication and lack of training led to a disappointing experience for me and my family.
Perhaps with more training on customer service and communication, Royal Palm can improve their overall
