W22 by Burasari Hotel

This boutique hotel is conveniently located in the old town. Its decor is simple and retro, and there are many beautiful restaurants and cafes nearby. You can explore many places on foot, making it a hotel with great value for money :)

The hotel has a loft-style design, and we had a triple room. The windows faced inwards, overlooking the hotel interior. The rooms were clean, and the beds and pillows were soft and spotless. The toilet door is a sliding one and doesn't lock. If you get up to use the toilet at night, there are windows at the top of the toilet area that open into the room, illuminating the entire room very well, which might wake everyone up. Be sure to set the air conditioning at night, as it gets stuffy within an hour without it. Breakfasts are good, served buffet-style from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM. There's rice, sausages, chicken, eggs, ham, and fruits. Coffee, juices, pastries, and cereals are also available. However, there were no green vegetables. The hotel is located in Chinatown, which can be a pro or a con depending on your preference. European food is practically non-existent in the immediate area; we found a McDonald's at Plaza 1 shopping center, 1.2 km from the hotel, or you can heat up food at 7-Eleven as an alternative. Attractions are nearby; the palace is two subway stops away, followed by an 800-900m walk or a 100 baht tuk-tuk ride.

The location near Chinatown is pretty good, and it's clean. The only issue is that there's no showerhead, which makes it inconvenient for kids to shower. Other than that, the value for money is quite good.

We loved everything! The hotel and the room were very clean. The breakfast was excellent for 150 baht, a great buffet. If you have a late departure, you can leave your luggage in a separate room at the hotel and go exploring. There's also a stylish and very comfortable lobby with plenty of sofas and armchairs, and delicious coffee.

The environment is good, and the price is affordable. It's located right in Chinatown, which is perfect for first-time visitors to Bangkok. There are many tourists around, so it's lively and great for late-night snacks.

Everything was good. The mini-fridge was always on, so drinks stored overnight got cold quickly. There's free water on the 2nd floor, and laundry costs 60 for washing and 60 for drying. Free coffee and tea are also on the 2nd floor, along with a billiards table and massage chairs. The room was spacious, clean, smelled good, and was cool. There's body wash, shampoo, and a hairdryer. The only downside is that toothbrushes and other amenities need to be requested at the reception. I didn't try the food. Otherwise, everything else was great, and the location is strategic.

Great room, excellent location! It's very close to Yaowarat (Chinatown), so finding food is a breeze, and getting around is convenient. It's also near Song Wat. There was a light festival going on when I visited, which made it super easy to walk over and see it.
