Tuoliang is located in Hehekou Township, Pingshan County, at the border of Hebei and Shanxi provinces, with its main peak reaching an altitude of 2,281 meters. It gets its name from the twin peaks at the summit that resemble the spine of a camel. The entire scenic area covers 22 square kilometers of pristine forest, renowned throughout North China for its five unique features: coolness, tranquility, wildness, seclusion, and verdant beauty. In Tuoliang, abundant mountain springs cascade down the valleys, forming nearly a hundred waterfalls that create a ten-mile-long water corridor, a verdant mountainside with countless waterfalls cascading down. The refreshing coolness that city air conditioning can't provide is readily available here: walking along the forest trails, the streams carry a refreshing coolness, and the mountain breeze carries the fragrance of grass, trees, and wildflowers; a deep breath dissipates the heat of the day.
