Ancient Longzhong(Gulongzhong Scenic Area)

Ancient Longzhong boasts a history of over 1800 years. Known as the cradle of wisdom and the origin of the Three Kingdoms strategy, it is associated with Zhuge Liang's humble farming life and Liu Bei's three visits to his thatched cottage, which led to the "Longzhong Strategy." Nestled amidst rolling hills, a mountain rises abruptly, bordering the Han River to the north, its forests and springs secluded and lush – this is Ancient Longzhong. Because Zhuge Liang, the prime minister of Shu during the Three Kingdoms period, once lived here and ended his reclusive life here to assist Liu Bei in his conquest of the empire, the place gained its name from him. Ancient Longzhong has become a place of enduring beauty and tranquility, attracting countless visitors from home and abroad. Covering an area of ​​209 square kilometers, Longzhong is the place where Zhuge Liang, the outstanding statesman, military strategist, and thinker of the Three Kingdoms period, and his uncle lived in seclusion.
