The Drum Tower in downtown Xi'an was built in the 13th year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty. It is over 600 years old. In ancient times, it was a time-keeping device. Show More ReviewsWe stayed at the Chaidamu International Hotel in Xining during our Qinghai-Gansu loop trip. The location was excellent, right next to Wanda Plaza and the Tangdao commercial district, making shopping and dining very convenient. The room was spacious and clean, with smart home controls throughout, and a humidifier was thoughtfully provided to alleviate the dryness of the high altitude. The mattress was soft and well-insulated, ensuring a good night's sleep after a long day of travel. The front desk service was warm and attentive, the breakfast selection was plentiful, and the Tibetan-style decor was grand and distinctive. It's a top choice for road trips, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Xining.
