Show More ReviewsVisiting the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding was such a memorable experience! It was raining heavily almost the entire day, but the weather made the visit feel even more special. In the morning, I spotted adorable red pandas hiding among the bushes—some were actively exploring, while others were peacefully sleeping and breathing heavily in the heat. And, of course, seeing the famous black-and-white giant pandas, especially the tiny baby pandas, was absolutely unforgettable! I managed to see black swans as well and even gave food to them fill of nutritional leaves. The whole park is a green bamboo forest with many different types of bamboo trees, birds, flowers and lakes with lotuses, rose garden and rope bridges. As a travel agent and content creator, I’ve seen many amazing places around the world, but seeing pandas in real life for the first time was truly magical. Definitely an experience I’ll remember and recommend to every animal lover visiting Chengdu!
