Sofitel Xining

This is an established five-star hotel with an excellent location, close to major shopping malls like Wanda Plaza and Wangfujing. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, the environment is clean, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of options!

The best hotel in Xining! 🏨 I used my Ctrip points to get it for just over 300 RMB, haha, what a steal! It also included breakfast for two. The breakfast spread 🍳 was extensive, with lots of choices, plus milk, eggs, and fermented rice wine available to drink.

Facilities: Comprehensive. Hygiene: Clean. Environment: Good. Service: Decent. The room was clean and tidy, check-in at the front desk was efficient, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was good. It's conveniently located for getting around and offers great value for money. I recommend staying here. The location is also pretty good.

Convenient access to transportation and plenty of dining options nearby. The hotel's breakfast selection is quite good, and they have a restaurant on the first floor serving local cuisine, as well as Western and Chinese dishes. Prices are reasonable, but be aware that portions can be quite large. The room cleanliness is excellent, and the customer service is responsive. Overall, a pleasant stay.

The front desk upgraded my room, which was a nice surprise. The hotel itself is a bit old, and the facilities are showing their age. For a 5-star hotel, the breakfast wasn't particularly impressive and lacked any local specialties. However, the price was very good, so overall, I'd still recommend it.

The room was spacious with excellent natural light and a fantastic view from the window. The zero-pressure pillows were incredibly comfortable, and room service was prompt. They even thoughtfully provided drinking water. The 24-hour front desk gave a great sense of security, and there was ample parking, making it stress-free for those traveling by car. It's perfect for both business trips and leisure travel. I genuinely recommend it to everyone.

The hotel's location is excellent, right in the city center with plenty of large shopping malls and great restaurants nearby. The room was decent, a bit dated, but clean. The hotel service was also good; they even gave us a thoughtful souvenir when we checked out. Xining was much nicer than I expected, very neat and clean – I really enjoyed it!
